FL1 Season 74

Welcome to Season 74 of this World renowned Friendly League. The Gaffer, Brian, has it all sorted once again. Many Thanks to him and his staff ;) Now the question is, who will be second and third behind the outstanding Super Imps.

However will a Team step forward from the FL1 ranks and wrestle the trophy from Richff's hands. There are teams capable but usually they nullify each other leaving Rich to runaway with the silverware. Thus any challenger has to really up their game to have a chance of bagging this trophy. Any prediction's, suggestions or plans can be added to this Forum link. Good Luck all ;) 8)

That is FL 1. and Fl 2. reporting set up.
Now we need a volunteer in FL 3. to do write ups similar to these for FL 3.
If we can find one it will keep interest going in the Friendly League and could bring in more players for the next season.

A typical first day at the FL1 office. But look who's top already beating one of last season's top team's. Yes its Super Imp's beating Angel Rrrr's 7-0. ;) 8)

On Day 2 of FL1 only one team has two victories. Aten Warriors lead the way with six points. ;) 8)

On Day three of FL1 the top teams all have seven points. Super Imp's, Wizards and Steaua Sudului are the early front runner's. Yesterday's leaders, Aten Warriors, lost their first game today going 1-2 down to West End Girls. The Girls are out on the town. I see nothing changes. In FL1 all teams have point(s) on the board. 8)

On Day 4 Super Imps remain top of FL1 after being held to a 0-0 draw with Jellybellies. Aston Villains move into second place after beating Corinthian Clowns 3-0
Aten Warriors move back into the top three after a 2-2 draw with The Seg. 8)

Today's results. 8)

On Day 5 of FL1 Aston Villains went top of the table with a 1-0 victory, in the Match of the Day, beating Super Imps. Steaua Sudului move into second after a 0-1 away win at Fools Utd. Jellybellies move into third after playing Aten Warriors off the park in a 4-1 cake walk. Although now in fourth, the Super Imps are only two points off the summit. Real Ale Madrid beat Corinthian Clowns 3-1.

Angel Rrrr's came out winner's 1-2 in a difficult away fixture against Rathpeacon. The Seg saw off FC. Town of Luton 1-0 to move up the table. Hoarse Whisperer's triumphed today in a 2-0 win over Wizards. Mmmr's Phoenix Piggies inflicted a first defeat on West End Girls in a crackling 0-1 away victory.  8)
