Right peeps, let's try get this competition back up and running.
Hopefully there is enough interest. Top 4 from from X-1-1 last season have qualified.
I'm thinking of slightly changing the layout; 4 8team leagues with each league consisting of 1 team from every conference. Top 4 from each league qualify for a 16 team K.O... That way every game means something and it makes my life easier to calculate team points. If managers don't fancy this new layout we can always go back to the old usual format.
Some managers have multiple teams who were in the top 4. I will make sure that when doing the draw, these teams will not be in the same league. The draw will be similar to how the actual champions league group stage draw is i.e no teams from the same nationality league can be placed in the same group. Hopefully it will work out smoothly. If you do have multiple teams that are eligible please put '@@@' after your team name when signing up.
If a manager is not interested in participating, next in line wil be eligible to take their place in their respective conference (5th, 6th etc).
I am hoping to get the first game of this competition started somewhere between day 10-15 of the season.
Each team will have a seed depending on their position.
1st place in X-1-1 = Seed 1
2nd place in X-1-1 = Seed 2
3rd Place in X-1-1 = Seed 3
4th Place in X-1-1 = Seed 4
