TCL Season 144 - GROUP STAGE DRAW: PRIZE INFO & NEW FORMAT - PLEASE READ.

Hi all,

Many thanks once again to all those who have participated.

NEW FORMAT INFORMATION:

There will be only 4 groups in the group stage with the TOP 4 from 8 all qualifying to the last 16 knockout phase. Every game counts so please make sure you set up for all games in your group!!! In case of teams ending up with the same points at the end of the group stage, the team with a higher goal difference will go through. If goal difference is the same, the team with the best aggregate head to head will go through. If this is the same again, I will jump of a building lol.

TEAM SEEDS:

1st place X-1-1 = Seed 1
2nd place X-1-1 = Seed 2
3rd place X-1-1 = Seed 3
4th place X-1-1 = Seed 4

Each group will have 2x seed 1, 2x seed 2, 2x seed 3 and 2x seed 4 teams.

Every group will have a 1 team from each conference.

There will be no conflicting games with users with multiple teams in the group stage. This will also be the same for the first round of the knockout phase provided you get to that stage with both your teams. After that it is FREE FOR ALL.

KNOCKOUT STAGE:

Winner of group vs 4th place of group - HOME advantage for winner of group
Runner-up of group vs 3rd place of group - HOME advantage for runner-up

This will be a random draw so teams will have to enter the knockout competition one by one for this to happen. Let's hope of no screw ups happen. FREE FOR ALL quarter final stage and above.

PRIZE (CREDIT) WINNINGS:

There is 20,000 credits in total that are up for grabs and to be won. I will be donating 10K and The Borg will also be donating a further 10K as he has kindly asked their caretaker to do so as a good will gesture. Many thanks to The Borg for this lovely contribution. Resistance is indeed futile

Before sending out the passwords for all other teams to join, I am just double checking that Borgs Caretaker doesn't have his main team (given his main team or any teams they manage are participating) in group B.

We don't know who this caretaker is but I have PM'ed in game to get confirmation that is all good with group B and we can proceed.

Please note the rules for the K.O the draw rules:

1) 1st Seed (Winner Group) will be playing 4th Seed (4th Group) at home.
2) 2nd Seed (Runner up Group) will be playing 3rd Seed (3rd Group) at home.
3) No 2 teams will be drawn to face each other in the last 16 that have already been and played in the same group.
4) No 2 teams will be drawn to face each other that are in the same conference.
5) After 2nd round games are finished, it's free for all.

Each manager will have to join the TCL KO in specific order and games will be played every 3 days.
