Fixtures are out, United have Chelsea at home for the first match, Wolves away for the second match.

Easy peasy 8) :P ;D

Not a bad run in at the end of the season though.

I welcome United buying young British talent tbh. Maguire will be next I think, plus we have plenty of top quality yoof players coming through our academy.

Now that Pogba's agent has won his appeal we can get shot of him too as long as Real Madras are prepared to pay £150m or so for him.

Chelsea are the side with serious problems though, Hazard has been carrying your side for years and will be difficult to replace.

According to some of the papers Palace want £70m for Wan-Bissaka ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We'll probably come back and offer £50m after our previous bid of £40m was rejected on a take it or leave it basis. I can't see us paying £70m for him lol

And now Pogba has said he wants 'a new challenge'. Both Juventus and Real Madrid are sniffing around, we'd better get around £150m for him!!! :o

I want Lukaku and Martial gone too tbh.

Well that's the Wan-Bissaka deal done for £50m. I can't believe this has taken so long to sort out. Woodward is incompetent when it comes to transfers. And because we've wasted so much time on this ONE transfer we're probably going to miss out on Fernandes too, the bookies have him odds-on to go to Liverpool now.

Happy with the Wan-Bissaka deal getting done but a club the size of United should be able to concentrate on more than one transfer at a time ffs. :o

Ollie wanted these deals done by Monday when the players are due to come back from their break, fat chance of us getting another one (or possibly two if Pogba ends up going) midfielder, a central defender, a right winger and a striker (assuming that Lukaku ends up going) before the 1st July. >:(

Frank is home and the bridge is going to be buzzing again, first English manager in 23 years, Hoddle (96), can you believe that, this will breathe fresh impetus into the team, already forgotten about hazard and the transfer ban.

Losing Hazard without being able to bring in a replacement would normally be a disaster but I reckon Fat Frank will give Hudson-Odoi a good run when he regains fitness. He won't be returning to training until the beginning of August though I think, and then he'll take time to regain his match fitness and match sharpness, so don't expect too much from him too soon.

Going to be interesting to see if Pogba turns up in Australasia. ;D ;D ;D

Woodward has completely fucked up yet ANOTHER transfer window so far. We should have had the Fernandes deal done weeks ago, the Wan-Bissaka deal took 3 weeks to get sorted and we still need a central defender, a defensive midfielder, a right winger, a Pogba replacement and a striker. Then we need to get rid of Rojo and Darmian AT LEAST too. So that's 10 deals we need to get sorted out (6 in and AT LEAST 4 out) before the window closes on 8th August.

Now we MAY get away with getting rid of Pogba and Lukaku and replacing them with Fernandes and Greenwood respectively and relying on Chongy to play on the right but is that too much pressure to put on two young players..?

And where the FUCK is our Director of Football..? :o

Leicester want £85m for Maguire too lmfao ;D ;D ;D

Well that's our first pre-season game played and a 2-0 win, goals from Rashford and Garner. Pretty poor opposition but we did manage to get one more goal than Chelsea did last year, although they did have a couple of 15 year olds playing in the second half  :P ;D

You can tell why Wan-Bissaka is nicknamed The Spider, his tackling is excellent. Can't wait to see him play against better opposition.

Dan James had a great game too in the first half.

The Sun are saying that United have agreed an £80m fee for Maguire. £60m up front and £20m worth of bonuses. He's having a medical tomorrow according to them.

They're also reporting that the board aren't  going to spend £70m on Fernandes, they only want to pay £50m. A STUPID decision if true, the signing of Fernandes is MUCH more important than the signing of Maguire. Our biggest problem since Fergie retired has been SCORING goals, not conceding them.

Apart from last season, which was an anomaly due to Maureen doing his best to get the sack and his usual massive payout, we've always had one of the best defensive records in the Premiership.

Fergie's last season we were top scorers, Moyes 6th best, van Gaal 4th best, van Gaal 6th best, Maureen 6th best, Maureen 6th best and Maureen/Ollie 6th best.

We need goals, our defence has been good enough to win Premiership titles every season apart from last season.

Still no more news on Fernandes or Maguire.

United beat Leeds 4-0 early this afternoon and Ollie has said that Greenwood might start against Chelsea for the first match of the season if he keeps on putting performances in during pre-season.

Unless he gets fucked up with injuries Greenwood will be worth over a hundred million quid in a few years. Same goes for Gomes and Chongy too.

Still no transfer activity for United. Unbelievable. We'll end up losing Fernandes at this rate. Not too bothered about whether we get Maguire or not because our defence has been pretty sound over the years. But we need to score goals, something we've struggled to do since Fergie retired.

Fernandes is worth €60m easily, all we need to do is offer €55m and that should be a done deal.

Such a bloody frustrating transfer window!!! >:(

Team news for United before the match against Inter in Singapore:

De Gea; Wan Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Shaw; Matic, Pogba; James, Lingard, Martial, Rashford

Looking like either 4-5-1 with two defensive midfielders or 4-3-3 with a number 10, probably the latter.

And the bench:

Romero, J Pereira; Dalot, Darmian, Young, Bailly, Jones, Rojo, Smalling, A Pereira, Fred, Garner, Gomes, Mata, McTominay, Chong, Greenwood

We'll see a few players doing 60 minutes which should give us an early indication of some of the players will start against Chelsea.

0-0 at halftime, Wan-Bissaka has been looking REALLY good on this tour so far, although our opponents, including a weakened Inter Milan, haven't been that good so far.

The next match against Spurs will be more of an indication of where United are so far.

I can see Wan-Bissaka being difficult to get past and James winning PLENTY of free kicks this season.
