Team news for United:

De Gea

Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw

McTominay Fred

James Lingard Rashford

Martial

Bench: Romero, Williams, Tuanzebe, Young, Mata, Pereira and Greenwood.

This is United's 4000th game with a Yoof Academy product either in the starting 11 or on the bench. That's every game since 1937. Incredible record.

De Gea looks like he's picked up an injury early on.

Own goal from Lindelof puts us a goal behind after De Gea isn't strong enough for a corner. Looked like a foul on the keeper to me but VAR says the goal stands. :'(

And that's the end of the first half with us going in a goal down against an injury ravaged side. We've had more chances on goal but only a couple of them on target. >:(

Greenwood on for Lingard.

A better second half from United so far.

18 shots on goal so far and only 4 on target. We need to be more clinical otherwise we'll throw points away.

Going to be so frustrating if we don't get 3 points here, particularly when you consider the fixtures that Chelsea have coming up. >:(

Bollocks. 1-1 final score and that puts us 4 points behind Chelsea. That was a good opportunity lost to close that gap a little more. :'(

Team news for United, the team picks itself at the moment with only the left back position a toss up between Shaw and Williams:

De Gea

Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw

McTominay Fred

James Lingard Rashford

Martial

Subs: Romero, Young, Static, Pereira, Mata, Pogba, Greenwood

Pogba back on the bench! Once he's match fit and sharp I'm expecting Ollie to play him as the number 10.

0-0 at halftime and we've been terrible. Lingard had a good opportunity to put us ahead when he was one on one with the keeper but his lob ended up over the crossbar. Neither side has had a shot on target yet.

And that's another 3 points thrown away, 2-0 final score. United were a bit better in the last 10 minutes but we're continuing to struggle to break teams down when they park the bus. >:( :( :'(
