I'll be really disappointed if we don't get at least 1 more goal.

4-1 final score, should have had 5 or 6 tbh. So that's us in 6th place, 4 points behind Chelsea. We would be in 4th if we hadn't thrown some ridiculous points away during these last few games

Quite an open game so far. 3 attempts on goal for United and 1 on target. Burnley 0 on both counts.

Martial puts United a goal up just before halftime. A lovely pass from Pereira after a defensive cock up and a nice touch and nice finish from Martial.
United deserve to go in ahead after this first 45 minutes. Burnley 0 - 1 United at halftime.

A better second half from the Clarets early on in this half.

Pellegrini has left the Hammers with immediate effect apparently.
No news on whether he jumped or was pushed, my guess would be the latter.

And Rashford seals the result with a goal. A nice counterattack, good ball from James and great determined work from Rashford to get the ball in the net.
And that's fulltime, Burnley 0 - 2 United.
So that's us 1 point behind Chelsea with their game in hand against arse away tomorrow.

Awwwwww. Chelsea left it up to the last 10 minutes or so to get a win today. Still, 4 points away with half the season left to play isn't a complete disaster. Top four is still on and we're still in the running for 3 trophies.
Things were looking completely different a month or so ago.
The problem that we have at the moment is consistency, we're struggling to beat sides that park the proverbial bus. I still think some players are having difficulty adjusting to NOT playing boring defensive football and passing the ball forwards instead of backwards and sideways.
arse away next, another tough match but their defence isn't great and our forwards are in form so we could get a result.

Looks like Haaland has gone to Dortmund instead of United. And because the owners of our club are too tight to front up the money to get a deal done. Again. This is just getting ridiculous.

Chelsea dropped another 2 points and Spurs got beat earlier. If we beat arse we'll be just 2 points behind Chelsea and 5 points ahead of Spurs...which is precisely why we'll ALSO drop points against arse, cos that's what we seem to do these last few seasons when we have the opportunity to close any sort of gap!!!
