I struggled to get the last 2 in so I have entered fake teams in to get it going.

CJFC Juniors have entered TCL and will just be losing in 1st round. Basically a bye for someone.

King Kennys Army have entered TEL but I will change my team all around to lose again someone gets a bye basically.

Sorry its taken a while it's been hard work filling it up. Haha.

Knockouts start today. I'll do a write up each night. Good luck to all (apart from you Borg, I would like you to lose, but only because you're playing me. Haha)

I'm be very surprised if I manage to win. Best defender, midfielder and striker all out long term. Dread to think what my team strength adds up to but going to need to get it near perfect to win.

TCL Knockouts Round 1
CJFC Juniors 1 – 6 Smashed
A bye in the 1st round for Smashed. Banger you owe a huge thanks to FC Schwalbe who didn’t want to enter. A 6 -1 win with 3 goals from supersub Connie Lingus. The minnows thrust into the competition never stood a chance against the might of sMAshEd, the conference 3 team advance to the Quarters where they will actually face a challenge.

Chambly 0 – 1 SatinStorm
A tight tight game as you would expect with these 2 heavyweights. With 30 minutes on top each and 30 minutes level the tie went into the dreaded random extra time coin flip lottery and up popped Gianluca Vialli (RIP) to smash home the winner from a goal kick for SatinStorm, although why striker Vialli was taking a goal kick is a mystery. Commiserations to Chambly and well done to conference 3 champions SatinStorm.

The Wenzels 1-2 RekrapCF
The all conference 5 battle was a cracking battle and shaded by Rekrap. After being level for the 1st 30 minutes The Wenzels changed it up and allowed 45 minutes tactical advantage to Rekrap CF, and at this level that just can’t happen, Rekrap capitalised with goals from Parker Daddy and Parker Ryan however the game almost swung at the end and Parker Daddy got his marching orders and The Wenzels were on top for the last 15 minutes but only getting 1 goal back through Barb Dwyer. And with that conference 5 have their 1st team in the Quarters.

Nanosoft 0 – 1 Walpoles Wipeouts
Another very tight game between 2 massive teams. This time Walpoles Wipeouts of 3-3-4 managed the big win. After being on top for 15 then level for 15 Walpoles Wipeouts went back on top and scored immediately throught Filippo Inzaghi. After 45 minutes Nanosoft then went on top and stayed on top for the remaining 45 minutes but could not manage a goal with Walpoles keeper Angelo Peruzzi claiming man of the match. Nanosoft will feel hard done by but the mighty Wipeouts march on, another conference 3 team advances.

Super Imps 1 – 2 Jellybellies
Absolute thriller ends up with Jellybellies dumping out favourites Super Imps, the crown went absolutely wild for this one! Jellybellies started so well, superb management from iwopp, changed at KO to go on top, changed at 30 to go on top and scored after 38 minutes through Jose Frayed! Then after 60 minutes of utter domination another tactical master stroke as they again changed to be on to culminating in a 74th minute goal for hero Jose Frayed. Rich then changed it up and went on top bagging a late consolation through Phil Yerboots. But it was all too little too late, tactical genius from imopp and conference 2 have their 1st team in the quarters.

Fulhams Finest 3 – 0 The Seg
Our 1st thrashing and its champions shield finalists The Seg on the receiving end, maybe 1 eye on the big prize. But take nothing away from Jimbo who grabs a huge win and canters to the quarters. The change at KO put Fulham on top for 45 minutes and counted for a 1-0 lead at half time with Justin Credible scoring the goal. A change at half time made the tactics all even but that wasn’t enough to change the game, then when Warren Piece received his red card for no apparent reason and Charlie changed to defensive the game was over and 75th minute and 90th minute goals scored by Adam Meway and Jim Nasium respectively killed the game and secured conference 1 their 1st team in the next round.

Acorn Raiders 1 – 0 Letsbe Avinya
Another massively tight game settled very late on after a very busy tactical game from both managers. After 1 minute both teams turned psycho and Letsbe Avinya had 15 minutes advantage. Then Acorn Raiders changed and had their 15 minutes advantage. After 30 minutes Letsbe Avinya changed up and had another 15 minutes advantage. Then Acorn raiders changed at 45 to have their 2nd 15 minute advantage. At 60 minutes Letsbe Avinya changed and it was level, with no team looking like budging. Then after 75 minutes both teams again changed and it was all level. Then out of nowhere with the game heading towards extra time Buster Cherry scored with a great solo effort to grab the win and the quarter final spot for conference 6 champions Acorn Raiders, well played resistance!

The Borg 1 – 2 King Kennys Army
Another close affair settled late on between 2 champions. After KO King Kennys changed tactics and it set off with 15 minutes even, then after 15 minutes The Borg changed and gave the advantage to King Kennys and 5 minutes later they scored through KKA Daryl. At 30 minutes King Kennys changed and the game was level again for 15 minutes. Then at half time a tactical change put The Borg on top and 41 minutes later the pressure paid off with THE NEXT GENERATION STR banging in the equaliser. With both teams changing up tactics it was The Borg who had the last 4 minutes of advantage before the extra time lottery ensued. We all know that tactics mean nothing in this wasteland and sure enough against advantage KKA Cody Von Dog scored with a shot that ricocheted in off the crossbar. And as the crowd went absolutely wild King Kennys Army became the 2nd conference 5 team into the Quarters.

TEL Knockouts Round 1
Ogres 1 – 0 Fools United
Very very tight game decided in the end by extra time. Both teams after KO were level on tactics, then Fools United changed to put Ogres on top after 15 minutes. After 30 minutes both teams changed and left Fools United on top. With no real dominance it stayed 0-0 at half time. With the pressure rising Fools United changed at half time but only allowed another 15 minute advantage to Ogres. At 60 minutes Ogres changed and all was level again. Then at 75 minutes both teams changed and stayed level. And with that the dreaded extra time started. With a couple of injuries and a red card the advantage was handed to Ogres when Eileen Dover smashed in the 111th minute winner with a scissor kick from the edge of the box. And with almost nothing in it Ogres move on to give conference 7 a Quarter final team.

Old Fullerians 0 – 1 Realale Madrid
Another nip and tuck game decided by a solitary goal. After KO both teams tried to get the edge and changed their tactics which only resulted in them sharing the early play. Again both teams changed at 15 minutes but this time Realale Madrid went on top and then after just 7 minutes they scored through … Ramirez and took the lead. They stayed on top until half time when both teams switched it up and Old Fullerians took the advantage, but that only lasted 15 minutes before they changed and went back level. With 15 minutes left Realale went ahead on tactics and saw out the remainder of the game. The conference 8 champions going 1 step closer to the double!

UNIV. CRAIOVA 1 – 0 Rebel Rovers
A 3rd game in a row decided by 1 goal. And this time the management team of Ryan and Kyle have let down their man swifty. After KO UNIV changed tactics to go on top and it stayed that way for 30 minutes, but Rebel Rovers held on to keep it level on the scoresheet, then after 30 minutes Rebel Rovers evened up the tactics, but now whilst level UNIV scored and took the lead through Ed Jewcation with a massive strike that gave the keeper no chance. Both teams changed immediately but stayed level on tactics and then after 60 minutes UNIV took the advantage and strolled home with a 1-0 win that perhaps should have been more. A great win foe Mihai and he becomes the 1st team in the Quarters for conference 2.

King Kennys Army 1 – 25 Newcastle Legends
Yes, yes it looks bad, it will stay on my record for a while but lets all remember this was a bye. Newcastle Legends owe a great big thankyou to Pilsners of Belgium who didn’t enter and they ended up with a lovely win as King Kennys Army tanked the game and offered up an AWOL keeper for Alan Shearer to smash in 12 goals. Well done to Newcastle Legends, but I’m sure the Quarter finals will prove much harder. Another Quarter Final team in for conference 8.

Steel City Blades 1 – 2 Saiyan Warriors
Another game decided by extra time and 1 goal, this tournament is tight! After KO Steel City Blades changed tactics and went level with their opponents. Then they changed again after 15 minutes to go behind and again after 30 minutes to go back level. And whilst level these 2 evenly matched teams both scored, Stu Pitt giving Saiyan the lead before Leo Tarred equalising for Steel City Blades 3 minutes later. In his 4th change of the game Brad changed to counter attack and went behind to his rival on tactics, and he managed to take it to extra time without conceding. But then the lottery, the dreaded coin flip happened and a 91st minute winner for Saiyan Warriors came from Abbie Birthday. A huge win for Saiyan and conference 3 gets it’s 1st quarter finalist.

Floriana 2 – 0 West Town Utd
Pre-tournament favourites lived up to their status and won in the 1st round. After both managers tried to one up the other and both change tactics Antony managed to get the lead on tactics and then took the lead after 29 minutes through Michael Rees. West Town immediately changed tactics but 1 minute later Antony continued his dominance and took the tactical advantage back for 15 minutes. At half time West Town changed it up hoping to get back into the game but only made tactics level and against the juggernaut that is Floriana that wasn’t enough and they scored again through Jason Rees. Floriana changed at 60 minutes and gave 15 minutes advantage to West Town but at 75 minutes they were level again and Floriana moved on to victory and giving conference 4 its 1st Quarter Finalist.

Surreal Madrid 1 – 3 Tekkerslovakia
The best named team that I’ve ever seen edges the high scoring game to move on. Tekkerslovakia changed after KO and went ahead, then they only needed 12 minutes to take the lead through Asamoah Gyan. Surreal Madrid then changed it up and had 45 minutes advantage but surprisingly Tekkerslovakia scored again through Pavel Pogrebnyak. After 60 minutes the tactics went level and randomly both teams scored this time Demba Ba making it 3-0 before Yoda Mann got a consolation. A very strange match that went weird on tactics but Tekkerslovakia reign supreme and give conference 6 it’s 1st team in the Quarter Finals.

Hoarse Whisperers 3 – 0 FC Town of Luton
A first real hammering in the TEL and the mighty Hoarse Whisperers move on. After changing tactics after KO Hoarse Whisperers only went level on tactics and made the 1st 30 minutes very even and 0-0. On 30 minutes both managers changed and kept it level, Martin and Nijinsky very much on the same wavelength. But whilst level the Hoarse Whisperers took the lead after 51 minutes through Erling Haaland. Then when Martin tried to go for it after 60 minutes and change his tactics it obly served to give the advantage to Hoarse Whisperers, then with a 64th minute red card handed to Willie Maykit for scrapping it meant absolutely no chance for FC Town of Luton and Hoarse Whisperers rammed home their advantage with 2 further goals for Telly Vision. A commanding win for Hoarse Whisperers give conference 3 another team in the Quarter Finals.

Sorry the write ups went away. This weekend was too busy! So I've skipped the quarters and the semis and gone for a lovely final write up! Enjoy all.

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL

Rekrap CF 1 – 0 SatinStorm
Rekrap CF lined up with an aggressive 253 formation against the more usual 451 of SatinStorm. Pre-game favourites SatinStorm went for a quick change in tactics but underdogs Rekrap CF also went the same way, in fact cancelling each other out and leaving the game level for 45 minutes. Within the 1st hald Rekrap sustained an injury to Parker Ryan and SatinStorm also got an injury with Willie Maykit sustaining a bruised shoulder. Then in what proved to be the pivotal game Kyle pulled his lads together at half time and said get out there and counter attack like your lives depend on it. 2 red cards followed in 3 minutes with 1 each Ed Ible for SatinStorm for faking injury swiftly followed by a 2nd yellow for injured superstar Parker Ryan for fighting with the fans. Then the big moment, the crowd went utterly wild with Uncle Daryl popped up in the 73rd minute with a goal via the bumcheek of God! Rekrap CF went mad! SatinStorm went equally mad changing tactics like they were going out of fashion, a change to Pansy, Defensive and Attacking right after the goal. But all was to no avail as Rekrap CF continued to be on top and cruised home to bring the mega trophy and 3000 credits back to Rekrap Stadium!
What a final, what a win, what a story, a fairy tale for Rekrap CF, from finishing 6th in Conference 6 and sneaking in to the Champions League to being 5th in Group B going into the final day and needing a win and a loss for FC Town of Luton. Then a run of The Wenzels, Jellybellies, Fulhams Finest and SatinStorm. Superb management, akin to a young ginger Rafa Benitez. Well done Rekrap CF on a superb title.


THE EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL

Hoarse Whisperers 2 – 0 Saiyan Warriors
Massive favourites Hoarse Whisperers came in to the game off the back of a great season in conference 3, with underdogs Saiyan Warriors finishing 5th in conference 3 needing the TEL title to get into next years TCL. Saiyan manager Callum knew he need a quick start to topple Nijinsky and went for it 253 and passing in the heat, he changed to Counter attack after KO in a bid to shock the Whisperers, but seasoned pro Nijinsky saw it coming, he stuck with his 451 and went continental, then to rub it in he went Defensive after KO and took the advantage right away. And after 27 minutes of advantage Pete Zaria popped up with the 1st goal of the game with a massive strike that gave the keeper no chance. Straight after this Nijinsky changed to match the counter attack of Callum. At half time Callum recognised his team were too wound up and changed the aggression to pansy in a bid to get them to calm down and pass. But it didn’t help, in the 69th minute Phil Foden popped up with a goal for Hoarse Whisperers with a cheeky dink through the keepers legs. 2-0 down against the Hoarses and things were looking bad, only for things to turn even worse when pansy didn’t help and Lou Stooth was given his marching orders, a 2nd yellow card for shirt pulling. And unfortunately for Saiyan Warriors there is no coming back from 2 goals down and 1 man down, Hoarse Whisperers cruised to the finish and lift the trophy and bring the glory back to Hoarse Whisperers stadium!
A great performance in the final by Nijinsky, never behind on tactics and thorough domination. Having finished 3rd in conference 3 last season and qualifying for the champions league things went wrong when they finished 5th in TCL group A and dropped into the TEL. But after that Nijinsky never looked back, a huge 3-0 win over FC Town of Luton followed by a 2-0 win over Newcastle Legends, followed by a 2-0 win over UNIV CRAIOVA and then 2-0 in the final. 4 commanding wins no goals conceded and Hoarse Whisperers are the worthy winners of the Europa League.
