Have You Written Any Songs Or Pieces Of Music..?
« on: May 13, 2017, 12:10:28 AM »
It's been a while since anyone has given this sub-forum any attention so I thought I'd start a new thread.

As the title says, have you composed anything..?

I've written a bass solo for one of the songs the punk band I was in used to do called 'I Lay You To Rest'. One of our most popular songs we did. It isn't great but apart from a one note solo that one of the two guitarists in the band used to do it was the only solo in our set.

The singer, Spark, changed into a wedding dress for that one lol :o

I've also composed a few jam track's to solo over with my guitar.

I'll post links to these things later if you want to punish your ear drums but don't expect anything any good lmfao :-[ ;D

I started thinking about this stuff because soon I'm going to start messing around with composing some music for my VR game. I've bought myself a cheapo 88 key roll up piano keyboard from Amazon for 37 quid and have 'got hold of' Cubase and a few other similar sort of programs which will allow me to get some high end synth sounds out of the thing.

So have you guys composed anything..? 8)

Here you go. My jam tracks/songs on Soundcloud:

And here's the tracks we recorded for our demo:

I'll upload any tracks I write for my game to my Soundcloud account. They're not going to be anything amazing, just the sort of drones you get playing when watching a horror film or playing a horror game to build up tension. ;D
