Non member private leagues
« on: February 22, 2017, 02:54:25 PM »
I assume the original reason for not allowing non members to create PLs was to avoid there being too many clogging up the PL list.

But with the game the way it is now with a lot less players these days, is there any chance we could possibly change this? As long as it isn't abused of course.

Maybe the idea was just to encourage people to become members (sort of small extra privlege)?

Personally I have nothing against what you suggest but it seems likely it's not up to us.

In passing, credits are necessary to set up a PL and buying credits automatically confers membership so I'm not sure how a non-member could set up a PL (unless they had built up credits which they hadn't spent --- and their membership had expired --- but then that implies a level of manager who would want to a member anyway???).

Why would it matter to you anyway? Just wondering? :-)

I understand, it is a pain, i cant make any PLs with my second team but its definitely a perk of membership, like setting up for future games, training analysis and challenging friendlies for points. I think there does have to be a difference but i can understand where youre coming from Stu.

Maybe an Official Cup for Unofficial Members?

I'd just like to be able to create a league for some extra gelling or maybe a gimmick league.

I would become a member if they didn't change the payment methods. I used to just send a text for £1.50 and i was a member for the year lol. Would love to see that come back!

Talking of a non-members KO cup/league, there used to be a Runners-up cup for those who finished second in their leagues. Maybe someone could re-institute it at the start of each season (probably just for the runners-up in each conference then it could be either a KO cup or league)?
