My broadband hasn't gone down for more than a minute or three in years but tonight .......... tonight of all nights. From 1.30 I waited.  And waited, and waited ............. and it came back at 2.59 and some seconds. I tried but the click I needed was a second or two too late. The money I have paid to Murdoch's empire over the years and it does this to me.  I might not have won anyway. But I might have done.  Gutted.  Just very, very gutted :-(

  unlucky mate.. I've missed around 5 match days this season which threw a couple of private leagues and gold cups but not the champions shield final.. may not have won anyway as floriana looking strong as ever but would have been a good final.

If it makes you feel any better Dave. I did the sort of same in the semi final vs. Floriana FC. Only difference is I set up my basic tactics meaning to come back before KO and change my advanced tactics. Overslept and woke up at 3.30. So it just played what I had set for the afternoon games before the semi final. Not that Spiteri new this. So not taking anything away from him

Still, Spiteri won't be able to defend his Champions Shield next season  . I bet he wishes he took the jump to Conference 2 to join Marv after all.  .

Plus I will take 5 shields from 20 attempts compared to 0 from 24 
Its that inter conference cup that has always eluded me on this server!

Yeah, done that a couple of times myself. It feels bad --- but at leaat it's your own fault and you can own the blame. 

Ho hum, given what's happened with Terry and his family (not to mention all the refugees across Europe) I'll just awallow it and move on.  And well done to  Spiteri, what happened to me isn't his fault. And I suppose if things hadn't gone wrong for me, he might have had a very slight chance of beating me ;-).

Well I just needed the CS for the full set and now I'll have to win the league to get another go and that there Hoarse Whispery fellow will be likely be a major annoyance in the matter. And he won "your" ICC. Any chance you could you tempt him into C4 -- just for a season or three?
