Thankfully I've had a reasonable spell of no injures so going into that I had 100 gelling on each player including subs. I can only imagine it's formation, which is fair enough, as I know the game favours 451 and 523.. That's the only real formation I can use which uses my strongest possible 11 until my new players get a festival seasons in and I can use 451 attacking.. let's hope not hard done by today 

I used to run a series of competitions on smokey called the Crazy Cups, every competition or league was special in some way and had its own specific set of rules. I think a good idea for a wee 8 team league would be to omit 451 and 523 and see where things stand between teams. 442 is notoriously crap so we could call it the 442 league lol

I'd be up for that actually! Will be nice to break the standard formations and see what crap we can use to have a bit of fun! Might find a new gem of a formation in the process! However I can confirm that Christmas tree won't be breaking any records as a formation!

Spare a thought for us budget built teams that can dominate tactics up to 75+ minutes and still lose lol.

We would need a control to see how we fare, and all teams to be on a level par statistically. E.g. Fullerians christmas tree beat Flashhearts 4-4-2 doesnt necessarily prove christmas tree is a worthwhile formation. I propose the home side gets to play the usual 451 or 523 etc and the visitor plays the outlandish formation, that way we know if the visitor wins THAT formation would be a decent alternative?
