That was a weird one. For a lot of the season I've topped C8 heading Pathetico (who many might say is possibly the best of the best this season) with only one goal between us in our league meetings) but could barely get crumbs in FL59. Then I was forced into a change in the league which let Pathetico in but suddenly I got a decent FL59 result.

I couldn't see Pathetico slipping up so gambled which let him get away from me (he might have done so anyway) through playing the new way and that led me having one 1-0 win and two draws against lower-half teams (no disrect to them) but somehow that allowed a run that turned my FL59 season around with just one  defeat (and that only 0-1) in the last seven matches. I still finished way behind FC Luton, Realale Madrid and Jellybellies despite currently being clear of all of them in C8 --- but avoiding relegation meant a happy (if slightly surprising) ending.

Still all a bit confusing though (and playing different ways in FL59 and C8 just meant bad results in both). 

I suppose might just be having to return to seriously heavy drinking to keep me going.

Not much between 3rd and 14th this time round. 32 points getting relegated is also unusual, last season finished with 26 and stayed up. Last time I got relegated I had a spell where even 75 minutes of TA only meant a draw if I was lucky..... there something afoot in the match engine.....😜

I too felt there was something amiss when on at least two occasions my goalkeeper was fouled in the opposing goal area and then scored the penalty even though my designated goalkeeper was still on the pitch.  🙂😎🙂
