Im gonna have a bit of trouble watching the national this year.. which im gutted about.. as I love it... but hopefully I can find a bar somewhere which I can pop into for half hour to watch it... at the moment Im looking at Cappa Bleu, ShakaLakaBoomBoom and SunnyHillBoy... but wont finalise bets until tomorrow.. post your bets here if your brave enough!!  ;)

The wife and kids will pick a horse each tomorrow, and I'll put a quid or so on each for them (win if under about 16/1, e/w if longer odds). They know nothing about horse racing, so they'll just pick something that's got pretty silks or a nice name.




Personally, I've got a couple of quid on Shakalakaboomboom.
Cos it's got a cracking name.

Yup I put £1 EW bets on ShakaLakaBoomBoom and According to Pete for my missus because she likes the names...  ;D

I've gone for a £5 EW bet on Junior as my main bet... so expect that to fall at the first people....will place 2 more smaller bets later on today when I get time.


Edit : On His Own and Always Right are my other 2 bets.  :D

I ended up with a quid e/w on Ballabriggs, Deep Purple, West End Rocker and Hello Bud. First time in a while that none of my horsies are going to be Pedigree Chum tomorrow lol :P
