SL OFFICIAL RANKINGS AFTER SEASON 116 & Manager of the Season

Hi All,

Please find below the official Sunday League Rankings up to and including season 116. The good news is i managed to recover the damaged spreadsheet, bad news is i lost alot of history, but the overall points total for each team are unchanged.

I have now changed the ranking system so that teams will now only score points for either of the below;

Conference Winner - 8 points
Conference Runner Up - 6 points
Conference Third - 4 points.

Inter Conference Cup, Elite Cup & Champions Shield;

Winner - 8 points
Runner Up - 6 points
Semi Final losers - 4 points.

i hope the above changes are in agreement with everyone, it makes it tougher to gain ranking points, but it means it's less of a chore for me to update at the end of each season.

Manager of the season is The Icelandic Borg with 18 Ranking points, Conference 4 runner up = 6 points + Elite cup winner = 8 points + Inter Conference Cup losing semi-finalist = 4 points.

Hi Deca,

well done  as usual for this goldmine of information. However, an idea comes to mind. Bin off all the team/team names that are long gone computer teams. Pussycats spring to mind. Great Manager, Great Team, but gone. If Paul comes back, great!! But if he does come back, his records start again. This will streamline the rankings, and make it more relevent for the newer teams coming into the game.
