I know we never managed to start this last time but I am determind to get this going again for next season.

Some of you may have received a message from me already as youve already qualified... Stil a few spaces available so if you 3rd 4th 5th 6th in your x-1-1 keep going till the end as only the top 4 qualify.

I will put you in your seeding when we start the competition but for now I am just gonna catalogue you below so I know how many have entered from each division...

Slowly getting teams together. Not all players have been decided yet. We will know after tonight. I was thinking wih the seedings. We normally do it by league. For example 1st place top seed 2nd place 2nd seed etc.. But what about doing it by decabox's official ranking system to seed the teams... Opinions welcome

How does seeding effect things? Deca's work is great but I'm not sure about using it for seeding. Great new teams will still be low in seeding term's. Team's who have been playing/winning longer will be higher up the seeding standings.

Sounds like a gd idea, it worked well in setting up the Sundayleague World Cup. There should be some group of deaths as well using this format as new teams like Pathetico Madrid and Craig's Mighty Reds are relatively low down in the rankings.

Sadly I won't be involved it hasn't gone my way this season.

It's tricky. As the seedings wouldn't be like country co-officients like real life. Decabox's ranking system is done on performance. Of course the newer teams will be lower down the rankings. Like i say it's tricky. Hopefully after tonight we can get a full quota of 32. I have just added a few more.

I think you could seed the top 20 in the rankings, but agree there are teams lower down that are just as good if not better :-)

The most straight forward is 1st place = Top seed. etc etc. As it gets complicated when people have more than one team in the competition. These teams are accommodated sometimes in different leagues not just based on seedings.
