Redhill remain top of table after beating The Luddites 2-1. The Luddites scored first, and Redhill finally scored the winner in the 75th minute. Right Enuff beat Harricam 0-1, after Mooey was sent off for the third time in five games. Pandemonium broke out as Mooey was leaving the pitch. Aggy Wenger tried to strangle him. Ag was restrained by the Police, the grounds staff and his other players. He was sent to the third tier of the stands for the rest of the game. Later recording in his blog that he had never seen this wonderful view before. He may sit up here on a regular basis.

Tricky Trees remain in third after sneaking a 2-1 home win. The Ogres dominated great swathes of the game. Their Manager Chucklebuns commented "what do we have to do to get amongst the points?" The Seg beat Oi Prasinoi 1-0. They dominated the game, but could not turn possession into goals. In fifth, are The Fools, who drew away at The Rumour Mill.

The Drogs beat The Casuals 0-2. Steve's team on the up at the moment. Exodus went to Team Georgia and ran out 0-1 winners. Aten are fighting back, possibly too late, but they saw off Naval and Military 2-1.

Ag your post did make me laugh today. Think it might time Mooey was flogged onto someone else to dent their promotion chances.

Six points separate the top five club's with four games to go to the end of the season. Redhill maintain their summit position after beating The Rumour Mill, 1-0. The Rumour Mill's Gerry the Pacemaker was sent off as they sought a way back into the game. Right Enuff went away to Naval and Military, and left 0-1 winners. Firmly keeping themselves in a  promotion place.

The Tricky Trees subdued Team Georgia 1-0 at home. The Trees goalie played a blinder. He was awarded man of the match. He certainly played his part in stopping Team Georgia grabbing that all important equaliser. The Seg outclassed The Luddites 0-4'. The Luddites looked like battle weary troops as they trudged off the pitch at the final whistle.

Fools stayed in 5th place with a 1-1 draw with The Drogs. It was a game that could have gone either way. In the end it was a draw. In the round up of other games, Exodus and The Ogres drew 1-1. Harricam won 1-0 versus Aten. For anyone interested Mooey was yellow carded for Unsporting behaviour. Oi Prasinoi went down 0-1 to The Casuals.

Redhill Rovers established clear daylight between themselves and their nearest rivals. They beat Aten Warriors 3-0 at home. This sends Aten through the trapdoor and into FL3 for next season. Redhill dominated the game from start to finish. Sites firmly fixed on winning FL2 with three games to go. Right Enuff, second this morning, lost 0-2 at Fools Utd. Right Enuff drop to fourth. Fergus Ferguson wrapped up the victory with a penalty in the 62nd minute. The Fools remain in 5th two points behind "Enuff."

The Tricky Trees move into second, after drawing with The Rumour Mill at home. Honours even in a balanced tactical game. The Seg move into third after going to Naval and Military and coming away 0-2 victors. The Seg are consistently doing the business on the run in.

Other games today include The Drogs beating Exodus 0-3 away. The Ogres beat The Luddites 0-2 away. Can the Ogres collect enough points to avoid relegation. Team Georgia beat Oi Prasinoi, away 0-2. Harricam and The "Casuals" drew 1-1 at Harricam.

A nervous day at the top of FL2. None of the top five teams recorded a win. Indeed, although Redhill Rovers stay top of FL2, they were beaten 1-2 by Naval and Military, who were firmly in command to take all three points. Match of the day was between The Trees and The Seg. The game finished 1-1 keeping the teams in 2nd and 3rd repectively. On paper The Seg dominated the game. However the Trees took the lead. In pressing to get back into the game, The Seg's Abbey Stadium was sent off after a 2nd yellow card. The Seg played to their rehearsed losing a player routine and got the goal they deserved.

Right Enuff, in 4th, drew 2-2 with Oi Prasinoi keeping their promotion hopes alive. Right Enuff were 2-0 down, then upped their tempo to draw level. Oi Prasinoi, will be kicking themselves after losing a two goal lead. Fools Utd drew away at Aten, 1-1. Aten played a patient game, and nearly collected all three points.

In the round up of other games Team Georgia lost 0-1 to The Drogs. The Casuals lost 1-2 at home to The Ogres. Special mention to The Ogres who are mounting a campaign to get away from the relegation zone. Harricam beat The Luddites 2-0. The Rumour Mill saw off Exodus 1-0.

Good write-up ag. Tight at the top, will take being in the top 3 after my most difficult game on paper.

That being said, even if I sneak it up this season, I have no doubt I'll be back the season after. FL1 is a whole different beast.

Chazz, you did it. You went over the top and came back victorious. It was a steady almost unfaltering climb up the table in the 2nd half of the season. The Tricky Trees have been there or there abouts all season. Well done for keeping the campaign going. My tip to win FL2, eventually finished third, Redhill Rovers. A little off kilter at times but did enough to grab the third promotion spot. My prediction for the promoted teams is that Redhill will finish highest up next Seasons FL1.

Right Enuff, long time FL2 leaders finished fourth, their campaign faltering in the last few games. Fools Utd, in 5th on goal difference, can only reflect that if two of those ten draws could have been wins they would have been promoted. Harricam, in 6th, could not recover from a three game run of losses early in the second half of the season. Ag commented it felt like teardrops in the rain. Indistinguishable.

The Drogs and The Rumour Mill both had better second halves to the season completing the make up of the top eight. Oi Prasinoi, Exodus and The Corinthian Casuals make up the three teams operating at the level of potential top eight teams. Indeed The Casuals were a top two team at least for the first five games of the season.

The Ogres and Naval and Military have upped their games recently to avoid the relegation zone. The Teams relegates are Team Georgia, The Luddites and Aten.  In the final analysis, I learnt one thing from FL2. That is, how to spell "Prasinoi" without having any insight into any potential meaning.
