TCL Final:


Super Imps 2 - 0 Purple Gelato

Super Imps comfortably beat Purple Gelato 2-0 in the final to win yet another TCL and keep the trophy in conference 1. After defeat in the Elite Cup yesterday night to Kush's other franchise, Rich was not messing about in this final and broke the deadlock on the 41st minute with a scissors kick finish from outside the box. A fantastic finish by Wassim Thadunnit that will surely be a contender for this seasons Puskas Award. Kush opted to change things at half time and go defensive but made a schoolboy error by going attacking at the same time. Mighty Rich took advantage and played on the counter attack and this paid off with a second goal on the 59th minute by main striker Phil Yerboots. It was pretty much over at that point and the Gelatos are thankful that Super Imps didn't continue scoring to cause embarrassment.

Congratulations to Super Imps on a dominant display and season.
