Hey,

See below the rankings after the final day of UCB28. Thank you all for playing/following and hope to see you all next season.

UCB 28 Table

Congratulations to Conference 1 for winning UCB28!
What a final day. C3 won both games against C1, but the other C1 teams confirmed the victory for C1 with some strong wins. C1 took the 1st place after day 4, and never gave it out of hand.
C3 also had a great season. 103 points, and challenging C1 till the last day for the title confirms them in 2nd place this year.
The battle for 3rd place was a long time really tight between 4 conferences, but with a strong finish, C2 takes the last podium place.
C8 takes the 4th place, but it was close with C4. Both conferences have 79 points, but because C8 has the better goal difference, they get 4th.
C4 has to settle with 5th place, but they showed a lot of potential for upcoming UCB’s. It will be a matter of time this conference will fight for top places.
Also close to C8 & C4 is C6 in 6th place. 3 points behind. Showing how competitive the midfield battle was.
C5 finish in 7th place, and C7 are 8th. Both conferences hope to do better next year.

Best performers today are C3 with 9 points.
Worst performers today is C2 with 3 points.

UCB 28 League Tables

Top job by the 4 group winners : Super Imps (C1), Pilsners of Belgium (C1), Letsbe Avinya (C4) and Great Yarmouth Town (C3).

UCB 28 Performance Table

If most people had to put money on who would end in 1st. Everybody that doesn’t like to waste their money would said it would be the Super Imps. And they delivered yet again. Scoring 34 points after 14 games shows they are a big reason of C1’s victory this season in the UCB.
2 points behind in 2nd place after also a super season we find C4 team Letsbe Avinya. After winning the division last year, and now having a good change of repeating this, they show they are a new up and coming top team in SL. And it looks like this team still has some years in it before they peak in performance. The team to watch for next season.
Great Yarmouth Town complete the top 3. They only lost 1 time in the whole UCB, the least of any team! They finish this UCB with 31 points and the best goal difference of all teams. C3 must be lucky this top manager decided to take a second team in their conference, because he always scores decent points in the UCB.

UCB 28 Home Table

Super Imps, Kushberry F.C and FC Schwalbe had a great set of home games. All 3 scoring 19 points out of 21!
Super Imps showing their quality by having the better goal difference. Kushberry only had 1 GD less. FC Schwalbe has to set for 3rd with the lesser GD out of the 3. These 3 teams are also the only team to not have lost a game at their home ground. Impressive

UCB 28 Away Table

Away from home, we have even more teams with a good reputation. 4 teams scored 16 points, and another 4 teams were only 1 point off that with 15 points.
The 4 teams with 16 points are : FC Town of Luton, Pilsners of Belgium, LiveSea and Letsbe Avinya. FC Town of Luton has the best goal difference out of them and are crowned the best away team of this season’s UCB.
Great Yarmouth Town has not lost any games away from home. No other team can say they did that this season.

UCB 28 Extra Stats

2 teams from C3 have scored 30+ goals. Hoarse Whisperers and Great Yarmouth Town. The Hoarse Whisperers scored a stunning 33 goals in 14 games, and are therefor the best scoring team!

2 goalkeepers kept 11 times their goal clean. What a statistics. Letsbe Avinya and FC Town of Luton could be count on a wall in goal. Meaning they only conceded a goal in 3 games. Letsbe Avinya only let 3 goals in in total, while FC Town of Luton did a little bit ‘worse’ with 4 goals. No other teams did better.

Cheers,
Sem

Great stuff Sem !
Well we fought the good fight but well done Conf 1.
That week in Wales cost me dearly ( I had no wifi so had to buy a data pack for £10 just to login to SL  :) )

Thank you Sem,

I wasnt part of UCB but read your reports every day, it's a great competition.

Well done C1, also well done to C3, this is a hard competition to defend, you made a great attempt at defending your title.

Congrats C1 - we just couldn’t find the same level of consistency as you did this time round! 4 great teams and managers. I’m sure it will be close again next time. Looking round the Conferences, I think a couple will fancy their chances too.

Cheers Sem, always come here to find your reports after the 3pm games. Another great addition to the game. Why can’t I get near your Schwalbe side when we play, but seem to do well against your Pilsners? It’s so weird.

Well done to C1.
I had an amazing first half of the UCB with my Gelatos and a disastrous last half.
Would have been totally my fault if C1 didn't make it on top but thankfully we did :)

Thanks Sem for sorting this out once again, always appreciated!

Good luck to all for the remainder of the season.
