Apparently United have scouted Martial for a while. Not a panic buy at all. We've paid over the odds for him but United always do get shafted when buying players. Happens to all big clubs.

Lmfao, apparently De Gea is still a United player lol

The paperwork wasn't sorted in time lololol ;D ;D ;D

A shame because that would have been a GREAT deal for United :o

United are claiming that everything was done at 10:59pm UK time and have documented evidence of it. Should get sorted on appeal tomorrow I reckon.

Think that just sums up united's summer's transfer activity - a complete farce.  Ed Woodward has been comedy gold this season, keep it up son!  ;D

You don't think Martial is a panic buy harv.. lolol.. I doubt you'd of even heard of him before news broke lol... for someone who reports on every single bit of united gossip, you've never mentioned him.. I hadn't really heard of him and the ones in the know all seem to think he is a complete gamble and you've paid way, way, WAY over the odds for him on the last day of the transfer market because nobody else wants to join your club.. its the complete definition of a panic buy.

Plus I thought LVG said he was giving Hernandez and Januzaj a chance... think Hernandez played all of 30 minutes in your last 4 games... so I wouldn't believe anything he says.. "scouted for a long time" probably means.. he saw him on tele once lol  ;D

Apparently we signed him and paid over the odds to stop your lot from buying him next year. ;)

More talk of Griezmann coming to United too, not too keen on him myself.

Looks like the De Gea deal has completely collapsed.. lol.  2 months to sell him, play hardball to get more money, panic, give in and cobble together a deal in 10 minutes.. and then fuck it all up - classic woodward.

I don't think united will be signing anyone else.. which will leave you a strike force of Rooney (no goals in 10 PL games) and two teenagers (although there is even talk of Wilson leaving) lol.

In Chelsea news, we've extended Moses contract.. for 4 years.. who the fuck comes up with this.. he'll never get in the Chelsea team, he'll constantly be loaned out.. just get rid.  ::)   I doubt we'll get anymore deals done with Stones looking like a no-go.  Would love to sign Pogba, but can't see that happening at the prices/wages being touted.

Just caught the end of a discussion about it on Sky Sports News and they're saying it's entirely down to Real Madrid :o

So nowt to do with Woodward, who has been fantastic so far this Summer.

Oh yeah.. leaving it down to the last minute of the transfer deadline is totally down to Real Madrid.. absolutely  ::)  ;D ;D

Madrid have released a 10 point document completely blaming United.. and the main failing points to United holding the contracts for 8 hours to make minor amendments to the Navas part of it lol.

Woodward has been fantastic to watch this summer for sure lol... never mind, you'll get Bale, Kane, Ronnie and Neymar in January.. ;)  ;D ;D

Everything was done in time by United. Real Madrid didn't submit their paperwork for Navas until it was too late.

No big names for United yet (apart from Schweinsteiger and Memphis) but signing Romero, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Memphis and Martial for just over £100m is a great bit of business. Shame we didn't get Navas but if I was De Gea I'd have the right hump with Real Madrid. It would be hilarious if he signs a new deal over this, highly unlikely but it would be hilarious lololol ;D

I would have had the raging hump with Real Madrid's valuation of me if I was De Gea.

Time is running out now. Thought that we'd end up getting another winger or striker before the window closes. No news yet :-\

Oh well, no more signings. Could mean, with Adnan going on loan, that both Pereira and Lingard will get a shot of first team action..? :-\

lolol.. just seen Uniteds press release in retaliation to Madrid's 10 point document... its like being at school.. he said this and she said that lol.. what a pathetic bunch of losers..  ;D ;D

Poor De Gea.. has to stay in that shithole of a city for another season - his missus is probably going fucking mental at him lol.

Rooney, Martial and Wilson up-front.. yeah, I'd stick money on United winning nothing this season - unfortunately I couldn't find that bet.. so gone with the next best thing and stuck a fiver on united finishing outside the top 4 at 15/8 - I didn't even get good odds for it  ;D ;D

Edit : Ah bollocks.. I just found that bet - 1/6 odds.. lololol

The difference is that United have the English FA to back their version of events up plus time-stamped documents.

It really is bizarre behaviour from Real Madrid. If they've gone out of their way to kill the deal off, why bother..? United are quite happy to let him go on a free transfer at the end of the season but now Real Madrid have pissed off both their future number one and their current number one.

If they had offered United £35m for him when the window opened they would have De Gea as their number one and Navas as their number two and both keepers happy. Forget about De Gea, Navas is a world class keeper himself.

De Gea can't be impressed with Real Madrid's handling of this, nor of how little Real Madrid value him as a player. I'm beginning to think that Perez may have mental health issues lol :o ;D ;D ;D

Has he sacked his agent yet..? That has to be happening soon ;D

No.. United have the English FA to back up that they submitted their documents to the TMS a couple of minutes before the deadline.. so what... they fucked around with the contracts for 8 hours during the day which ultimately led to Madrid not having enough time to register the player and submit the details to the TMS.  Why would Madrid purposely sabotage the transfer of a player they have been chasing all summer ?

What I don't understand from United's version of events.... if Madrid had not contacted them in the whole transfer window until the last day.. and De Gea was a key member of the team... why was LVG not playing him again - lol.  Everton had a few offers for John Stones and carried on playing him regardless.. and players like Berahino who were dropped from the team.. these players actually had bids made for them... doesn't make sense to me.

And you say Madrid have pissed off their keepers, well De Gea has made it clear he doesn't want to play for United, he's going to be fucked off that United delayed the documents going back to Madrid and LVG has made it clear that he doesn't trust Romero as no. 1 as United added Navas to the deal.. so United have done the exact same lol.

I'll be very surprised if De Gea turns out against Liverpool now... either way I couldn't give two shits...  the whole saga is pathetic  ;D ;D

Ramires sold for £25m... came out of left field that one... whilst he did have a few good days with us.. he was quite inconsistent... TBH, I don't think he's worth £25m - probably more along the lines of 15m - so as long as we can replace him, it'll be a decent bit of business for us

Looks like Pato will be joining us on loan till the end of the season too.. hopefully that means Falcao will be a goner.. signing him was the worst decision Jose ever made.
