I'm not bothering with analysis now really. I play my best team and hope. :)

Just played my first home game of the season and my next isn't until Saturday so that's the soonest I can start building my level 3 stadium. Seem to have been waiting  AGES but hey ho. Anyway I think the team I played must have been one of the relegated teams (?) as it was pretty good. I got a great striker on loan but still went a goal down in the 6th minute then another down before half time but came back fighting and drew 2-2. Phew! :)

Didn't buy any players in the transfer market as no really good ones coming up so think I need to upgrade my scout building but the stadium comes first then my  burger van or whatever it is. :P

The striker you've got I had on loan last season he scored quite a few goals for me and Jags Jets were indeed relegated from division 2 last season

1st home game of the season I got a 1-1 draw, after having one of my midfielders sent off for 2 yellows and another for a straight red.  :o ??? :(

Left me playing a lopsided 4-2-2 instead of 4-4-2 diamond.

That was not predicted by the analysis of the match.

Yeah he's doing great so far. I'd have bought it had I had the opportunity rather than loaning him but not complaining. :)

Got off to a slow, rocky start but am doing great now and starting to compete at last. :)

I now have the following facilities and wondering what to upgrade next? Torn between upgrading my catering van again or possibly health centre or fan shop? Not sure which would be best. Any opinions please?

Stadium lv3
Training complex lv4
Scouts Office, Health Centre, Fanshop, Youth Centre and Catering all level 2.

Thanks for your opinions/suggestions guys (and gals?). :)

I'd go Youth Centre then Fan Shop if you can afford it

Stato

Thanks, Stato. You'd go Youth Centre to lv3 then Fan Shop to lv3 before upgrading the catering again then? I'm just trying to maximise my income before hammering the youth centre and training complex as was once mentioned earlier on in here (by you?) that's all.

So what do you think? I'll wait to hear back before I start anything. It will be a while before I upgrade my stadium again - 1.8 million I think it costs. Blimey!  :-\ ::) ;D

Fan shop gives you more fans plus extra income from merchandise while catering 3 only makes money if you get more than about 3600 fans which your not going to get in your division were struggling in division 2

I'm contemplating saving for that stadium!

I'll see how these next 2 home games go, if I can get around 2900/3000 then maybe by the time I've saved up I'll be filling it or atleast 80%
Steel City Blades - I will win everything even if it takes me forever to do it!
Flashing Blade - "Got any leeches for this?"

Well my currently popularity is 106.260 which I don't think is too bad but can't find out how to see my attendances as my stadium  matches tab shows up empty at the moment despite my having played in the new stadium before. I've just written in the forum asking if it's a bug so once I find out, I'll know what to do. If I have more than 3600 fans, I'll do catering otherwise I'll do fan shop. :P

Thanks for the heads up anyway Stato, once again.

I can't see us getting 4 out of 5 games Brads if you play any of Stoneheads, Blue Star, KDS, Bunnies or Socceroos I can't see us getting 80% you'd need to play against 4 strong teams in 5 games

You've only had 1 game in your new stadium a friendly against Davo and this doesn't show on your stadium tab but you got an attendance of 1773

You have to remember it's not just your popularity that counts for the attendance it's the away team as well and you have 5 Bot teams + a team with only 7000+ fans so your going to struggle to get over 2000 fans per game maybe about 3000 vs Delroy Dogz

Thanks again Stato. Yes I see what you mean. I discovered about not having a home game in the new stadium until a short time ago. I'd forgotten I needed to play twice to get the four 80% attendances then the 3.6 days it took to finish the upgrade. I just got 2100 plus 20% for watching live so I took your advice and started upgrading the fan shop. I'll leave the youth centre until I get more attendance. I can't believe I've just lost a home game against Collinwood, 2 places off the bottom. A bot team who had only got a few points and had been beaten or drawn against almost every game so far then he scores against me in the 6th minute and again a bit later, despite my playing my best team who were doing so well prior to this. I just don't get it but feeling rather 'cheated' at the moment. :( Doesn't make any sense to me at all that one. :(

Oh well dem's da breaks as the saying goes I suppose.

BTW am I right that apart from training up a player's stats, the XP doesn't otherwise affect a player's performance in a game? Usually I train up something after every game. Is this what you do, too? Or would it be better to save up the XP and train the main stat? Only just realised when I looked further that you can do this, although it costs several thousand XP to do it. I guess if I don't, it won't improve very much on its own so better think about upgrading my training centre as well some time to level 3. What do you think, does that sound like a plan? :)

I normally just train the main stat or sometimes tactics as for upgrading facilities
These are yours

Fanshop   2
Catering   2
Health center   2
Scout's office   2
Stadium   3
Training complex   4
Youth center 2

These are mine

Fanshop   3
Catering   3
Health center   3
Scout's office   2
Stadium   3
Training complex   4
Youth center   4

So the big difference is your youth centre I've nearly completed my Scout to 3 then I'm going to try and get Youth Centre 5 then 6 as you can get lots of good young players for the future
