Ah, that explains it then lol.

WTF. I just missed out on promotion, didn't even make the play offs, finishing 5th in my division, but I've been promoted from a level 6 division (6.7) to a level 4 division (4.4) after the league draw.

It's due to England losing level 6 and then it moves all non advanced Bot teams down to the lower levels and moves human managed teams up

They must have either changed the league structure, adding more groups within the higher leagues, or rationalised the number of teams in the English league by deleting some of the bot teams. League sizes are based on the number of managers...this must have changed enough to alter the league structure.

at least it didn't go the other way and you ended up two leagues down.

Cheers

I did notice earlier that the English League had lost level 6 altogether. I think they may have dumped all of the bot teams into lower levels and moved the managed teams up, which is better for competition. Going to make this season tougher, I was looking for another season of consolidation while I built up my facilities. Stadium will be at level 3 by Monday evening. Then I can build my catering facility.

I've also been looking at the graphics for all of the levels of all facilities, I see that there is now a level 11 stadium option now, with a capacity of 200000.

There doesn't seem to be a graphic for this one though. The level 10 stadium looks quite impressive though.

Signed up properly this time. To give this a go. I'm actually really enjoying it so far.

I went for random league etc. and I got stuck in Saudi Arabia. Working my way through the stages and and levels of building stuff. Any help on my team would be much appreciated? Stato? Davo?
I have stuck a few players on the market and improved a few others.

Heres a ticket for my first league game vs what looks like the best team in my given country (gulp)

Having trouble getting Happy Valley.  Keep getting Lake Macquarie in League 4:4.

Hi Borg you have to do it manually after quitting club DONT JOIN ANOTHER but go to countries pick Australia then press any team on that page

Then press LEAGUE and on the right hand side pick 3-1 then pick Happy Vally then at the top it says accept this job

Borg,

can you log in with your original account? It still seems to exist...and you might have the benefit of getting significantly more sponsorship income.

If you want the team that stato suggests, just either quit your team with you new user, or use your old account to go to:

http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/team-4338

and then click on the "apply for this position" or whatever it says.

....as for playing tips...you need money and to do this, the best way is:

to start off with:

1. Sell as many old and highly paid players as you can before the transfer window closes.
2. Make sure you have enough U21 players to start an U21 squad
3. Buy as many cheap young players with 3+ talent as you can before the transfer window closes.
4. Sack the old and highly paid players that you cannot sell, leaving you a squad that is as small as possible.

(when you get a new team I'll have a look and tell you who I'd get rid of)

then:

1. Concentrate on increasing your stadium to level 2 as quickly as possible.
2. Get Fanshop level 2 as quickly as possible
3. Get Stadium level 3 as quickly as possible
4. Get Catering level 1 as quickly as possible

then, and only then can you contemplate building other facilities and a team - and you might want to work towards.

Join this forum:

http://sundayleague.freeforums.org/index.php

amongst other things you will find a spreadsheet, that will assist you in the decision making process on which facilities to upgrade to and how it will effect your bottom line.

I've been playing the game almost 4 months and have the following:

Fanshop2
Catering2
Health center2
Scout's office3
Stadium4
Training complex5
Youth center5

The quicker you build the facilities, the more drain there is on finances and the slower your progress. Once you have a reasonable income it will be a cakewalk.
