Good point mate. A good keeper is invaluable if you dont have one. Then maybe a reasonable MF and a striker...pay as little as possible, preferably less than the annual wage.

:o The season is going to be pretty tough for you then. I've been going all out to build a Howard Wilkinson style get-me-out-of-division-2 team. I'm still hoping to bring in another good striker, but I keep missing out on the loans. Spent $1.5m in new players, recouped $0.5m in sales and so far have spent about $300K on loans with a budget od about $200k on my last one.

Hopefully this will give me a chance of getting up.

Even though you will likely get relegated, you should fill that 8000 seater on most days and will bring in about $5m from tickets/merchandise/catering....about $2m more than you would get in Div 2.

You are probably best off using that money to do the necessary upgrades rather than waste it on players.

I've just managed to get my first loan player in a Guatemalan International Midfielder now I just need another Midfielder and striker

I'm hopping to pick up points when other teams are in the Asian Cup and field weakened sides :-)

I figure that loan players pay for themselves if they help you pick up extra points in a season. They'll be essential for me due to a step up in league level. Two defenders in, will look to bring in either a midfielder or forward. Cash is a bit short though due to stadium upgrade and I want to build a catering facility.

Made a few moves in the market during the close season. Frustrated a few times though. It's worse than flippin' Ebay. No other bids on a player. Pop back in a bit later and you've been gazumped. Done that myeself a few times now though.  ;D

Nice short term spoinsorship until 21st December, will give me an extra £25000 per match week until then. Hopefully get a decent deal after that as well.

Decided to use the advertise match for credits function as a trial. Sold out my new stadium capacity within 5 minutes of clicking the button. Good way to get a quick boost in popularity.

Monk is currently ranked 39 in England with myself and Deca 50 and 51 respectively.

Not likely for me but I'll see how I go!  I'm currently doing 3 cricket and 3 footie online mgmt games, and trying to have a life outside of it, so not much time for each!

I wish you could withdraw transfer bids!

I've bid all my money on a player that I'm not gonna get and I can't free up my money until the bidding ends tomorrow afternoon.

Still need 2 loan defenders aswell or I might get relegated

It's even worse when a load more teams bid for the player and then they extend the deadline to a second round of negotiations. Even though you don't increase your bid and join in the second round of negotiations, you're stuck until the transfer is finally done.

ON another subject, it says there is an increased chance of injury with higher levels of training centres, and I have definitely noticed it in recent friendlies. Anyone else noticed a significant rise in injuries after upgrading the training centre?

Hi m8 if the biddings gone to the next round your money is freed up now

Plus lets say your bidding on 3 loan players if one of those goes to next round of bidding you can bid on another player

Hi m8 about the transfers same as my above post as for injuries just try and get your health centre as close to your training centre

Plus on level 3 of health centre you can pay to get your players unijured
