Played a few games, got absolutely annihilated.. change of plans, gotta go out now.. will probably be on for a bit after MOTD tonight if your around and fancy a few games late.. depends how long I can stay awake for though.

I never made it on in the end.. got too tired.. played a bit on Sunday but was enjoying the sunshine too much to play for a long amount of time.. I definitely need to get used to these new maps.. I seem to be good on the beta maps but hopeless on the new ones lol... played a bit of "Campaign" - not quite sure how this is different to the variety playlist though apart from some pre-game cutscenes.

My first achievement on the game was the one you get if you successfully escape post battle.. something I never managed to do in the beta - yet done it twice now.

Am up to about level 28 on Titanfall now.. K/D ratio is definitely improving, but just goes to show what having better equipment does..it would be nice to have a website to check on stats though... was playing with a 4th generation player last night though    these people must play it non-stop.. apparently someone has already hit the 10th generation... I mean, sorry but that's just sad

Bloody hell. I've seen a handful of 3s, and thought that was bad. Most folk seem to have restricted gamercards lately but I saw one of them had over 60 hours racked up.
I think I'm at approx. 10 hours and level 44ish.
K/d is around 0.7 but that's fine - I play the objective (mainly hardpoint) and I'm usually one of the top players.

No idea how long I've been playing it - doubt its 10 hours, but must be past 5 at least.

Had a look at the achievements.. and all bar one (kill all the opposing pilots in the aftermath) seem pretty do-able.  I got the achievement for finishing the campaign on IMC (and unlocked a titan model).. haven't a bloody clue how to switch and do the Militia campaign though, I keep getting chucked into the IMC group.. (apparently you just have to keep trying to get a game and hope they put you on Militia - seems like a frustratingly bad design choice to me).

CTF is bloody difficult, played it twice and both times got absolutely annihilated.. its nowhere near as fun as it is playing in Halo - I think the game is too fast paced for CTF personally.  Hardpoint is definitely the gametype choice for me too.. closely followed by Attrition - I was racking up some nice K/D numbers last night.. I'd have a few blips every now and then.. but I had an attrition game of 3 v 4 (I was in the 3 team) - and I absolutely beasted everyone else. 12 pilot kills, 3 titan kills, around 20 minion kills and 1 death I think..

I thought on campaign it just put you straight into the story on the opposite team to the one you'd already played. Did that with me. I had a play with the other titans but definitely prefer the standard Atlas.
The achievement for fully winning both campaigns will be a pain in the arse. You can see how close you are - but if you can see you've won 7 of the 9 IMC missions you still don't know which ones it was so you need to remember or keep a written note as to which you won. After you've finished both campaigns you can pick to replay any mission.

Think it does show you which ones you've done as there's a logo over each mission you've won.  But no matter how many times I tried yesterday, it kept chucking me into the IMC group after I finished the IMC campaign.. annoying as fudge.

I didn't lose a campaign game at all so perhaps I was a bit lucky.. but will try and get the Militia one started tonight at least.  Winning 50 Last Titan Standing games will be annoying as its probably my least favourite game-type and I'm not even going to touch it until I reach the higher levels.

I'm a bit unenamoured by the maps though.. there's no stand-out maps for me.. the problem I think is that I prefer close quarters maps with 8-12 players.. yet all the maps are massive (to accommodate the titans).. I find myself looking for people more than I am killing them.. I feel lucky if I reach double figure kills in a game - which I guess is why I like hardpoint, you know where the enemies *should* be going.

The logos tell you which you've completed, but don't indicate whether you won. It's possible to complete both campaigns without winning a single level.
I think I won about half on each campaign but I've no idea which ones I won.

Haven't tried Last Titan Standing yet. It doesn't much appeal tbh. Might give it a look once I've unlocked the perk that increases titan AI.

Yeah so I lost a few IMC games last night so I'm gonna have to replay some of the levels if I remember which ones they were.. my team were bloody useless... anyway I checked how long I had played for last night.. only 4 hours  .. it said you had been playing for 20 hours though, not 10 hours late.. lol.

Yeah, it's weird that, about my hours played. I said I'd been playing for ten hours because I'd recently got an xp boost for one of the "time keeps slipping away" challenges for having played 10.00 hours.
I guess it's 10 hours playing the game and another 10 hours doing other stuff? (Training, fannying around with loadouts/burncards, sat in lobbies, and going "afk"?) Doesn't sound right, that, though. I'm sure I spend a lot of time inactive with the game turned on, but ten hours?


Anyways, I added a few hours last night, and eventually got my prestige. That last level took a long time (getting from 49 to 50 - fortunately you don't have to get to 50 and then do a load more afterwards like you do in COD). Took a long time to get from 49 to 50 partly because it requires a ridiculous amount of xp (about 80k I think) and partly because you've earned all the bonus xp from challenges for your favourite weapons etc. by the time you get to level 49, so you don't get as many xp boosts or burn cards - unless you switch to a loadout you're unfamiliar with. (I'm no sniper, so I brought out a couple of Amped Sniper Rifle burn cards toward the end, which helped - get to a vantage point and snipe a few easy targets to get a couple of challenges done.)
Got there in the end, though.

Apparently you earn xp a bit faster after each prestige - so I'll earn it at 110% now, and the next prestige earns it even faster, and so on - so that'll speed things up a little.
You do, however, need to fulfil certain criteria to prestige. The first time you only need to get to level 50. The second you need to get to level fifty and to have killed loads of people and npcs using the shotty and the 40mm cannon. Each successive prestige requires more difficult criteria to have been fulfilled.
