1-0 final score, a well deserved result. Could have been more if Rojo and Lingard hadn't wasted some good chances. Top of the table now but this has to be the tightest group I've seen in years. Probably since we were in the Defensive Group Of Death years ago and ended up in what was the Europa Cup at the time because we were in third place. That group was ridiculous, think there were only 5 or 6 goals scored in total from all of the group's matches lol :o

Citeh have qualified which has REALLY surprised me. :o

Going to go back to Elite in a bit. I now have over 2.2 million in assets, have killed 123 pirates, 1 innocent trader and been killed 18 times. Commander Arv, the scourge of pirates (and the odd innocent person who gets in the bloody way) everywhere 8)

And you think Mourinho is going to the nut-house.. Van Girl can't even remember the names of his players LOL.. 3rd time now.. apparently you have a player called Michael Smalling playing for you.  Too right LVG should praise him (Chris that is).. he basically saved united from a certain goal and going 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go.. as it is, that Rooney goal (first in 7 hours) papered over another toothless performance.

Hardly a sign of him going to the nut house, certainly when you compare that to Maureen's bizarre behaviour these last couple of months. That business with Eva, his behaviour with the press, his behaviour with officials. He isn't losing it, he LOST it a good few weeks ago lol ;D ;D ;D

Oh, and I forgot to add ('allegedly') assaulting a teenage Chelski fan to that list lmfao ;D

They're 1-0 up at the moment thanks to an own goal. If they win it should keep Mourinho in a job for a bit longer. :o

Bet your bum was squeaking a bit after they equalised though lol ;D

Stoke away for your next match, what should be easy matches against Norwich and Tel Aviv but Spurs away after that. Could be another 6 points dropped. :P

Even with a draw, it would probably of been likely that we would of made it through the group stage (albeit second) - but its always better to win and gives us a chance to top the group and also qualify with our next game.  A much improved performance was the main thing and I'm glad Jose appreciated the love he was getting last night too  ;D

We have a relatively easy fixture list coming up in November and December... I'm expecting us to be top half by the new year and within 6 points of 4th

Pretty good result last night in Manchester hey harv  ;D  5 goals scored in 5 CL games.. in one of the easiest groups there is.. and now you have to win away from home to be sure of going through  ;D ;D

Unbelievable result for Kiev in our group on Tuesday.. everyone else with 10+ points in other groups are already through.. but unfortunately because of that result.. it now means both Chelsea or Porto could potentially go out... if its a draw (and Kiev win) - then Kiev will top the group and Porto will be knocked out on goal difference - so Kiev are through as long as they win.

Those disgruntled people will change their tune when Van Gaal wins us the Premiership.

Hardly a disaster last night, we're quite capable of beating Wolfsburg away.

Hardly a disaster... we'll see if you change your tune in a fortnight... ;D ;D Wolfsburg were desperately unlucky to lose to you at Old Trafford.. I'd say they would be favourites to win.  Would be funny if Bender scores the goal that knocks you out too  ;)

Team news:

De Gea

Varela Smalling Blind Darmian

Schweinsteiger Fellaini

Mata

Lingard Memphis

Martial

Full debut for Varela, really happy to see him get a chance. A bit weird seeing Fellaini ahead of Carrick in that line-up and we've got plenty of Yoof talent on the bench. Probably Van Gaal's most important match since he started. :o

Apart from an early scare where Shirley missed a sitter United have been playing well. A nicely timed run from Martial and a good assit from Mata sees Martial putting United a goal ahead.

Bollocks, they've just equalised >:(

1-1. :'(
