Private Leagues.
« on: August 29, 2015, 03:59:31 PM »
Can't help wondering how they are "fixed". So many examples of my team being in multiple private leagues and, very often against almost the same opposition, winning some while finishing way down in others.

Yesterday two such matches were played against Icelandic Borg. Same players in both and conditions, tactics and advanced tactics the same in both matches yet I win one and lose one.

I'm not complaining as such --- just musing on the frequent silliness.

I find myself having to agree. I play my teams against each other in private leagues for gelling etc. The results differences for teams playing the same tactics, formations, sometimes weather, sometimes not, are amazing. Narrow wins, draws, getting thrashed. You can say individual players have off/better games but it does make you wonder about match results.

Also, have you noticed on the first division game of the new season there are usually 7 winners (and seven losers) and one drawn game. Sometimes it does stretch to two drawn games. But it does follow a pattern. ;) 8)
