One of the worst things is that I can no longer have any respect for any of the managers in the top five of C3. /quote]

Which is it C3 or C8?
I'd not lose respect for any top manager without some sort of evidence.

Obscure teams do log on occasionally and upset the run of play.
Put it behind you Angele and move on. you're having a great season

Angele, at least you've picked up 3 points against them this season. I have played them twice and have a big fat 0 points to show for it! And fair play to them, they beat me tactically both times. Looking at their previous match reports it looks like they log in for most, if not all games so this seems a bit unfair on Toulouse.

I agree with the above. The Teams worse loss all Season is 0-3. The Manager and their Team seemed to have tried in all games with some good wins and some narrow losses. Their username, etherridge 88 has been around for years. I know it does not mean it is the same Manager as Teams can be given away etc. But if it is the same Manager then they must have considerable experience in the game, but do not play it with the devotion level of some other Managers and so are not winning top divisions but they "can beat anyone on their day." ;) 8)

Seeing C-3 mentioned here got my attention. Apparent now that was an error.  The post is casting suspicion on 5 managers over the fact that there was an unexpected match result.  That's a big outreach to make. As for respect, I have no reason to disrespect those 5 managers. In particular jelly bellies is the most honest of all managers on here over the 10+ years I've played. There are managers I don't respect but enough said.

What if I suggested that some "close"matches maybe weren't quite as close as they might first have appeared to be due to ATs being carefully worked out for both sides?

Or maybe i am just bitter and it's time to pack the game in. But not, at least, before this season is over.

You're in C8, so you mean me or one of the other 3 in the top 5 then....... Nice.

No. Definitely NOT nice.

But put yourself in my position. And maybe have a look back through Expected Toulouse's earlier results.

Maybe ET's manager might like to come on here and explain the teams unpredictable (or should that be predictable?) performances?

Really. i doubt anyone could be bothered to invest in a team only to set up when playing against a 'top' side, i certainly wouldn't.

As you have found out today, the quality runs deep in conference 8. Anyone in the top 15 can take points from anyone.. even a team that is flying at the top. Long may it continue 8)

The clues are in the matches played against the top sides. Remembering one is ET's  shadow owner.

Personally I hate teams that change tactics a second before the kick off, as 4 changes are not enough for their strategy. However that's part of the game, so we all just get on with it. If other saddos want to have a second team it's not much more different....

I'd like a change that says, 'if opp plays def, change to att' - just for me like.

One is within the rules and the other breaks the rules. It's not much more different, it's completey different.

Is there not a rule against having more than one team in any particular league?

Because if there's not, then fair enough. I'll apologise and start getting a second team ready (under an assumed alias and email address).

In the friendly league there is a rule and it is right it's there. However the conferences don't have any rules on this, so saddos abuse it.....
