New Managers/Returning Managers/ Leaving Managers

What would be good is if we had a monthly update on New/returning/leaving Managers to see how the game is developing. What is attracting former Managers back? Indeed, what is attracting brand new Managers? Also why some Managers leave? Is there a way to ask for feedback from leaving Managers? For me there are always too many "new" Managers who leave after one season in a top division. Its been easy on the way up and then the reality bites..and they leave. Some of these Managers do not even read the Forum and the tips to be found there. Maybe a message could drop into new Managers inboxes saying the Forum has basic tips, but please approach, these(volunteer) Managers, for additional help.

Great idea that is mate, especially the welcome message to let folk know about the strategy tips. It seems unfair on tho's who don't understand how the game works. I'm enjoying my second stint a lot more now that I follow the strategy tips.

Since we received the 5000 credits there has been 23 new accounts created.

Thanks for that Steve. Maybe, if you can, you could update us all at the end of December, about, further new accounts, and maybe how many Managers have left over this period.

Just a thought, how many active Managers are playing the game, as opposed to all the team spaces available in the pyramid. How many computer teams?

As of yesterday there are 597 managed teams, as to the active question, I don't know, probably would need to check the who online page regularly over a 24 hr period.

So we have 3,500 blank spaces to fill one server. Things are improving but we have a fair way to go. We need to involve Managers currently playing league games, into friendlies at least, maybe then private leagues.

Would be nice if we got all of the x-1-1's full of managers managing every single night. In addition, 5 full divisions in the FL like the heydays would be another achievement.

Yeah defo's, and a welcome message with advice on joining the forum and seeking strategy tips would help a lot with keeping folk on here as agadorsparacus sed.

Would there be a way of expanding the transfer market if more managers stay active or join though? Its hard enough getting good players when they pop up once every week or so and around 10-15 bids on them.

If every message sent out (by CG or other managers) to "All" goes to every team whether it has a manager or not and there was no automatic deletes (and only managed teams would be housekeeping their inboxes) might not that leave many years' worth of messages clogging the system up?

I will look into the posibility of getting a message set up for new teams registering. I'm sure there is a way of doing it. You are correct though Angele. After a couple of logins after registering you do get sent all system messages that have been sent over the past X amount of years etc.


Spoke to a few past managers about the return tonight while going through the old sundayleague blog. West Yorkshire Boys & Menagerie?? Any of the oldies remember these 2??
