FL3 Season 57
« on: November 22, 2016, 07:37:57 PM »
Welcome to Season 57 of FL3. Your chance to comment upon games, predict who may win, and generally geg up the banter, if you need to. I think Danny and Livermark will be there or thereabouts. I need to remember I'm in the competition. Twice I went awol in FL4 last Season and paid the price. :o :P 8)

Tips for the top from Top Managers.

The Seg, has two votes to win FL3, Livermark has three votes for a promotion place. Harricam have two tips for a promotion place. The Rumour Mill has an outright tip to win FL3 and Betty Swollocks XI has a tip for a promotion place.

Leading the way after the first day are The Lunatic Fringe, and for now the lunatics have taken over the asylum. ;) 8)

Not sure that I'll win it, but I think it'll be a tight race between a number of good teams.

Think it's three from six or so teams if i'm honest.

Dan(nie) I know you read this forum. Are you a former FL 1 Manager? ::) That'll mentally disturb your rivals ;)

Livermark the only team with 100% record after 4 games! Table starting to take shape, looks likely to be a close league though.

It's getting tough at the top in FL3. Dannie's  first game without a win, causing those Danes to drop two points. We were all waiting for the live press conference from Copenhagen, but there was a technical issue, a power cut, or somebody pulled the plug. Our man on the spot could not be located. Rumour has it he was seeking sponsorship from Carlsberg, by offering to drink their board of directors under the table. Actually he is a Seg supporter out on the froth as his team get nearer to the summit of the table. A spokeperson for Harricam, Lois Lane, was too devastated by yesterdays result to utter a single constructive sentence.  ;) 8)

The top six teams are all within striking distance of the three promotion places. The next three Teams could possibly make up ground on the top six if they go on a winning spree. The bottom seven Teams may be fighting each other to stay out of the relegation places. 8)

Word has come through from our friends at FredsBet spokesman Fred Champion has been inundated with requests for odds in what is turning out to be a close fought league with the prize at the end so great even Sam Allardyce wishes he was managing a team.

2/1 The Seg There's something about this team I don't know what it is but greatness surely becons for this new manager. The team to beat.

5/2 Livermark Been there done it and got the shirt there's nothing this manager doesn't know, expect him to relish the pressure of battling it out down the stretch.

4/1 The Rumour Mill Despite a slow start, results have picked up and when this team gets on a roll, watch out.

5/1 Harricam Wanderers The manager is legendary can his team perform to his high standards, everyone knows he thrives in the Christmas period, is it his time to shine.

8/1 Subgenius Goals have been hard to come by but his team defence is resolute and results keep on coming. The Wildcard.

10/1 Sporting Messi FC Consistency is the issue, on his day he can match the best but are there to many good teams to thwart their promotion push.

Just a thanks for all the effort steve, it's seriously appreciated by all of us! Your write-ups get me through that last hour or so at work in the afternoon.

Livermark remain undefeated, but slip to their second drawn game of the season. They fall down two places into 3rd in the division. The Seg had a hard fought win today to take top spot in the FL3 table. Harricam move up to second place and The Rumour Mill move ominously into fourth place. ;) 8)
