Super Imps seemed revitalised today as they know the prize they so covert is close. They put on a dominant performance and DVGStars were the unlucky recipient to the 4-0 scoreline. Realale Madrid are now 2nd after travelling to the in form Old Fullerians AFC and coming away with the spoils winning 2-0 to sit 1 point back. The Flashhearts had worked so hard to get themselves into contention but today wasnt to be as they were held by relegation threatened Floriana FC 1-1 at home. Other notables saw Jellybellies beat Aston Villains 2-1 away and Hoarse Whisperers win 3-1 away, both victories lift the sides to midtable.


FL2 - NoOne Blinks Yet

Redhill Rovers maintained their hold on the division after getting past the dangerous The Rumour Mill 1-0 at home. Right Enuff are 1 point back after travelling to Naval and Military and coming away with the spoils winning 1-0. The Tricky Trees are also 1 point back after hosting Team Georgia Mayajay and winning 1-0 to make up the top 3. The Seg remain 4th 3 points out of the lead and had the result of the day defeating Liverwood Luddites 4-0 away. Fools Utd lost more ground and are now 5 points from promotion after being held at home by a subdued Didier Drogba FanClub 1-1.


FL3 - Borg Dispatched By A Genius

The Borg are rocking and rolling at present after suffering their 2nd straight defeat. Subgenius on the verge of promotion hosted The Borg and defeated them 1-0. The Real Madrid are 4 points back after defeating Crystal City 2-1 away. Red Devils Utd are 4th 8 points back and today put FC Basel to the sword defeating them 4-0 at home. At the bottom of the league Corkscrew failed to beat bottom side Spartak losing 1-0 away, they sit only 1 point above the relegation zone after Sporting Messi FC got a much needed win winning 2-1 away. FC Basel are 4 points back and Spartak 8 back from safety.


FL4 - Roma Season Unravels

Champion Winter Milan will look to get the season undefeated and today was an easy win winning 4-0 away at Callums Liverpool. The Delhi Dilemma stay 2nd after a hard fought 1-0 away victory at Somerset Rebels. Pyros are 2 points back from 2nd after they huffed and puffed to a 1-0 home win over The Tumbling Sixers. Romasexuals dropped out of the promotion places after they were held 1-1 away by relegation threatened Lunatic Fringe. Corinthian Clowns are 5 points back from promotion after they were held to a goalless draw by england who are still scrapping for survival.

FL1 - Imps Have Breathing Space As Chasers Draw

Super Imps opened up a 3 point gap with 3 games remaining after they defeated UNIV Craoiva 2-0 on their travels. The Flashhearts and Realale Madrid met in a massive encounter but both teams played a cagey games and the game ended goalless which was a better result for Realale Madrid who are 3 points back but The Flashhearts have it all to do now sitting 4 back. At the bottom Floriana FC were relegated losing 2-0 away at Pathetico Madrid. St Kilda Select were also relegated losing 2-0 at FC Town of Luton. The relegation places are now decided after Psychotic were relegated a few days ago. Other notables saw Hoarse Whisperers move into 6th after defeating Old Fullerians AFC 2-0 away.


FL2 - Fools Are Right Back Involved

Redhill Rovers have a 3 point gap at the top of the division after they relegated Aten Warriors with a 3-0 win. The Tricky Trees are 2nd but could only draw 1-1 at home with The Rumour Mill. The Seg are also 3 points back after they sent Naval and Military nearer the trap door with a 2-0 away victory. Right Enuff are 4 points back after they losed to Fools Utd away 2-0. That result sent Fools Utd within 3 points of the promotion places. At the bottom Ogres gave themselves some hope winning 2-0 away at fellow strugglers Liverwood Luddites. In all likelihood Ogres, Liverwood Luddites, Team Georgia Mayajay and Naval and Military are battling to avoid the drop with just 4 points covering these teams.


FL3 - Borg Breathes Sigh Of Relief

The Borg opened up a 6 point lead after putting their recent troubles behind them as they battled out a 1-0 away win at The Huckley Way. The Real Madrid valiant attempt at the title looks to have ended as they were held 1-1 away at Livermark. Subgenius could be promoted tomorrow after they defeated Corkscrew 3-0 at home. Red Devils Utd kept their faint hopes alive as they kept their nerve defeating Sporting Messi FC 1-0 at home. At the bottom Spartak drew 1-1 at home to local rival White hart lane but could be relegated tomorrow. The 3 teams above all lost.

Winter Milan are still undefeated and today put on a clinical display defeating The Rhubarb Triangle 2-0 away. The Delhi Dilemma have a 4 point cushion on 4th after they were dominant in beating Callums Liverpool 5-0 away to remain in 2nd. Romasexuals moved back into the promotion places after they returned to winning ways defeating Somerset Rebels 3-0 away. Pyros promotion hopes suffered a setback after they were surprisingly held at home by midtable Rebel Rovers 2-2 to be 1 point back of the promotion places. Corinthian Clowns are 4 points back of promotion after they had a routine win against The Tumbling Sixers winning 4-0.

Super Imps hold a 4 point lead with 2 games remaining after a champion like result winning 4-0 at Angel Rrrrs. They can win the Friendly League today if they win away at Hoarse Whisperers. The Flashhearts still have an outside chance after a dominant display defeating DVGStars 3-0 at home. Realale Madrid title dreams were ended after they suffered a 2-0 home defeat to UNIV Craoiva. Other notables saw Jellybellies defeat local rival Pathetico Madrid 1-0 away to confirm their midtable position.

Right Enuff sit 3 points back after they too couldn't take advantage drawing 2-2 at Oi Prasinoi. Fools Utd promotion hopes are in the balance and will need to win the last 2 games after they were held 1-1 away at already relegated Aten Warriors. At the bottom Liverwood Luddites look in a perilous position after they were beaten 2-0 at Harricam Wanderers to sit 2 points from safety on 24 points. 2 from Liverwood Luddites(24) Team Georgia Mayajay(24) Ogres(26) and Naval and Military(28) will join Aten Warriors in relegation.

At the bottom The Rhubarb Triangle were relegated after losing 5-2 at Glanford Park and england survival hopes were helped with a gutsy 1-0 home win over Callums Liverpool. With the Friendly League in their hands Super Imps let it slip today after they were picked off 1-0 away by Hoarse Whisperers. The Flashhearts are 1 point back after FC Town of Luton couldnt stop them winning 3-0 at home. Realale Madrid beat St Kilda Select 5-0 at home to maintain their 3rd place 3 points adrift but goal difference is against them. On the final day Super Imps travel to Pathetico Madrid and The Flashhearts host UNIV Craoiva. The very best of luck to you both.


FL2 - The Seg Hit The Heights

The Seg hit the summit at the right time after taking all 3 points in a devastating display away at Team Georgia Mayajay 4-0. The Tricky Trees are level on goal difference after defeating Liverwood Luddites 2-1 at home. Redhill Rovers showed signs of nerves after they couldn't stop Exodus beating them 1-0 at home and are 1 point back. Right Enuff goalless draw at Corinthian Casuals looks to have cost them the title but they sit 4th 3 points back. Tomorrow The Seg hosts Corinthian Casuals, The Tricky Trees host Right Enuff and Redhill Rovers hosts Fools Utd who have just missed out on promotion. The very best of luck to the 4 teams involved. At the bottom Ogres need 1 point to avoid relegation away at Team Georgia Mayajay who must win and Liverwood Luddites must win at Oi Prasinoi and hope Ogres lose.

The Borg finally won the league after overcoming the valiant The Real Madrid 1-0 away. The Real Madrid can console themselves with 2nd place. Subgenius stepped off the gas after promotion yesterday and went down 1-0 away at Crystal City. At the bottom FC Basel were relegated after a goalless draw at home to White hart lane. Tomorrow either Corkscrew(20) or Sporting Messi FC(22) will join FC Basel and Spartak in relegation. Corkscrew were thumped 5-0 at App Frod Juniors and travel to Red Devils Utd on the final day. Sporting Messi FC gave themselves every opportunity with a 2-0 win at home to Mixed Martial Farts and tomorrow they have enviable task of hosting The Borg.


FL4 - Delhi Promoted

Winter Milan defeated england 5-0 away. The Delhi Dilemma are promoted after a 2-0 away win at The Tumbling Sixers. Romasexuals need 1 point to be promoted after they crept past Rebel Rovers 1-0 away. At the bottom Glanford Park are relegated after a 5-1 defeat at home to Rathpeacon. Yorkies Strollers gave themselves every opportunity of staying up after a 2-0 home victory over Lunatic Fringe. Tomorrow 4 teams will be looking to avoid the final relegation spot joining Glanford Park and The Rhubarb Triangle. england(24) Yorkies Strollers(24) Lunatic Fringe(25) and The Tumbling Sixers(26) will be hoping the result goes their way.

FL1 - Super Imps Win FL58

In a dramatic final day Super Imps were crowned champion on goal difference of +8 after they travelled to 4th place side Pathetico Madrid and came away anxiously looking at other scores after being defeated 1-0. Realale Madrid finished 2nd after defeating local rival FC Town of Luton 2-0 at home. They will look back on two days near the end of the season where they suffered back to back defeats which ultimately cost them but a great effort and a step up to the elite. The Flashhearts needed the win but the pressure was too much against a high class opponent in UNIV Craoiva and they suffered a home defeat 2-0 to finish 3rd but a great effort in defending their title.


FL2 - Seg Show Their Corinthian Spirit

The Seg were crowned champion today after they visited Corinthian Casuals and defeated them 2-1. The Tricky Trees were promoted after they held off the challenge of Right Enuff for a 1-1 final scoreline. Redhill Rovers were also promoted despite a 1-0 home loss to Fools Utd. At the bottom Team Georgia Mayajay were relegated after they failed to beat Ogres drawing 1-1. Liverwood Luddites were also relegated after they were humbled 4-0 away at Oi Prasinoi.


FL3 - Cork Screwed

The Borg ended the season with a 4-0 away victory at Sporting Messi FC. The Real Madrid confirmed their best season to date with a 1-0 home win over The Huckley Way. Livermark won 2-1 at home to already promoted Subgenius. At the bottom knowing they needed to win to survive Corkscrew could only manage a draw at Red Devils Utd 1-1 to confirm their relegation.


FL4 - Yorkie Relegated At Home

Winter Milan won 2-0 away at Glanford Park to confirm their unbeaten record. At the bottom Yorkies Strollers were relegated after they failed to beat already promoted The Delhi Dilemma losing 3-1 at home. The Tumbling Sixers survived as they beat Romasexuals 5-0 at home, despite the loss Romasexuals were promoted. Lunatic Fringe survived despite losing 3-0 at Pyros who narrowly missed out on promotion on goal difference. england survival was secured after they defeated already relegated The Rhubarb Triangle 2-0 at home.




Congratulations to Rich and his Super Imps on winning Friendly League 58, that was a battle right to the last moment. Thank You to all managers who took part, I have to say that was favourite Friendly League to date. Heres hoping FL59 will go the next step.

Thats not to say being pegged at the last doesnt hurt Mihai! But very well done to Rich this season, im glad we're keeping it with conference 1

It was a great league.  Performance of  very high standard required to win that and congratulations to Super Imps  and commiserations to the Flash hearts and Real Ale Madrid.  Richard must have been very worried when he logged in and saw his results for the day on his club house page.. and then very relieved to see the league table. 

I'm just happy not too have been relegated.  I thought that was a certainty when i had only 2 points after 7 games  and was thinking I'd been promoted too early  to FL1. But now.. looking at it, I wouldn't have liked to have been part of that battle in FL2 that saw the The Seg prompted this year;  and next year in FL2 will be even tougher with Fallen Giant Borg and Real Madrid added to the mix to battle it out with, amongst others, a rejuvenated  ( judging by their results in the 2nd half of the Conf 4 season) Floriana.
