Ags you're absolutely flying at the moment. What have you fed your team to get them to perform like they are?

Bob Martins. :P No doubt our luck will run out ;) 8)

Today, there were 6 wins and two draws. The Drogs went down 0-1 to the Fools. Steve said"what was that?", as his goalie lifted the ball out of the back of the net. "We parked two buses and a six berth caravan. It's just not allowed." Feeling dismayed he invited the team out for the night with his old friend John Daniels.

The Ogres were cut down to size by Exodus who crushed them 0-5. Chuckle Buns was heard to say, I'm very unhappy with that result, or words to that effect. Chuck ended the after game press conference with, "We will fight them on the beaches." You have been warned.

The Seg beat the Luddites 2-1. The Team did three laps of honour of the bar before dancing on the roof of the bus shelter. Never one to shirk his responsibilities Chaz led from the front..."I love to boogie....on a Friday night."

Right did just Enuff to seal a 1-0 win over Naval and Military. They moved back into second place.

Redhill who were second before today's games drew 1-1 with The "Mill." Both Managers needed the win. Redhill to try for The Summit. The "Mill" as he had some action going on an accumulator.

The Tricky Tree's, showed their Entish qualities today as they beat Team Georgia 0-3. All the flora and fauna were whispering with the news. But at the local watering hole The Trees were really partying. Nothing seemed to move but the sap was flowing.

The "Casuals" and Oi Prasinoi drew 0-0. Was it a point gained or two points lost? Various Philosophers were called in to debate the question. They concluded after much expense and cocktails parties, that it depends upon your perspective.

Harricam visited the Home venue of Aten Warriors today. Ag and the Team were overawed by the pre match display. All tactics were on display. Will we defend with a firewall, Will we flood the  midfield with warriors, will we attack with such venom to overwhelm our opponents. Ag's pre match talk could have been so confused, but in the end it was formed in one word deep in the pit of the stomach that left the mouth as "CHARGE"...Harricam pulled off. a 0-1 away victory. They headed home feeling "It's a Mad World." ;) :o 8)

Back at the top of FL2 are Right Enuff. They saw off Fools Utd 1-0. Although top, its only on goal difference. The top three Teams all have 26 points. In second are Harricam, who drew with Corinthian Casuals 1-1. Harricam felt hard done by. They thought they may be collecting a win until The Referee sent off Lawrenson. Game Over. The third Team in the top three tussle are The Tricky Trees. They went to the Rumour Mill, and came away with a hard earned 1-2 win. Redhill Rovers currently lie 4th after beating Aten Warriors 3-0.

Fifth to Eighth place are covered by three points. The next group of teams are separated by just four points, that's ninth down to 12th. Out of the bottom four teams three teams have nine points and propping up FL2 is ATen with 3 points. ;) 8)

Today's results:

Didier Drogba Fan Club  0 - 1 Team Georgia-MayaJay
Ogres 1 - 1  Corinthian Casuals
The Seg  2 - 0 The Tricky Trees
Right Enuff  3 - 0 Oi Prasinoi
Liverwood Luddites 0 - 3 HarriCam Wanderers
Naval and Military 5 - 2 Redhill Rovers
Fools United 3 - 0 Aten warriors
Exodus   0 - 3    The Rumour Mill

Not too much movement today, all very congested at the top with only four points separating Ag's at the top and Redhill Rovers in 4th. Looks at the moment as though a run from anyone in the top 7 could be enough to pull away, with Exodus only 3 points off the pace in 8th.

At the other end of the table, Aten look doomed but only 5 points separate Oi Prasinoi in 9th and Ogres in 15th. All to play for as we head towards the midpoint of the season.

Tomorrow's Fixtures (and guesswork predictions ;)):
Didier Drogba Fan Club   vs Aten warriors
Ogres vs The Rumour Mill
The Seg vs Team Georgia-MayaJay
Right Enuff vs Corinthian Casuals
Liverwood Luddites   vs The Tricky Trees
Naval and Military vs Oi Prasinoi
Fools United vs HarriCam Wanderers
Exodus vs Redhill Rovers

Thought i'd give Ag a break and write something up myself - happy to cover a couple of times a week where I can ag.

What would be great, is if any other Manager did a full FL2 write up, now and again, bringing their own unique style to the FL2 link. Even if they do not write up the whole days proceedings, a manager could cover their own game in detail, flagging up penalties, sending off's, spectacular goals and that dog that runs onto the pitch. ;) 8)

Right Enuff stay top of FL2 with a dominant display over Corinthian Casuals. The result was 1-0 but the game never appeared in doubt, to the "Enuff" fans. Harricam were away at Fools Utd today. It was a hard fought 0-0 draw. Ag had no complaints, for once. The Tricky trees won away at The "Luddites" 0-2. Fought like a chess game, but still a loser.

Redhill Rovers beat Exodus 3-0. They are in fourth, 4 points off the summit. The Seg beat Team "Georgia" 2-1. Are The Seg beginning to put a run together? Ask Chaz..
Fools Utd, The "Casuals" and Exodus, make up the top eight. 8)

Going to do something slightly different and go through the form of all the teams, probably Wednesday though as not sure I'll have enough time tomorrow. Just to keep up my promise of a write-up when I get the chance.

Given myself a chance, picked up a few points recently but still a way off you near the summit ag.

There were 6 wins today, therefore 6 defeats. Obviously Einstein at work here. Eddington added there was also 2 draws. Right Enuff had a very rewarding 1-0 win against The Tricky Trees. Enuff opened up a 5 point lead at the top of FL2. Harricam remain 2nd after losing to Naval and Military. Ag ranted and raved that we dominated the game for 75 minutes but still played with no commitment.

The Seg continued their winning run with a 1-0 win over Corinthian Casuals. They are now two points off 2nd place with it all to play for. Fools Utd move within four points of 2nd place with a 1-0 win. Oi Prasinoi move into eight place with a 1-4 win over The Luddites.

It's now the half way point of the season. We all go again. Everyone wants to excel, every Team wants to do well and be promoted. The fact is it's 3 from 16 who can make that jump to FL1. At the other end of the FL2 table 3 Teams are going down. Three good teams, three great teams. All more than capable. So get those pink boots on, be tactically aware, and look out for those dogs invading the pitch 8)

I'm happy to do the odd write-up and if you want help in keeping the alternative table up to date, I'm happy to volunteer but can't commit to being able to do it every game ag.

Looks like any 3 from the top 6 at the moment, unless someone can go on a 5/6 game winning run.

I was thinking of any of the other FL2 managers who fancied themselves as statisticians rather than Match reporters. 8)
