Day 7

Fallen Giant Borg and The Real Madrid sit a comfortable seven points clear of 3rd placed Betty Swollocks XI. Both sides have a perfect record thus far and don't look like slowing down anytime soon.
The Borg still stands as the hot favourite to take the title but if The Real Madrid can keep up the recent excellent form they may push Borg all the way. The two sides will face eachother in a weeks time. Will it be Svio for dinner in Iceland? Or will The Real Madrid prove to be Borg's volcanic ash cloud?

The rest of the sides seem to be struggling to maintain any decent form, with only four points separating third place from ninth. The battle for promotion is still very much on for any side that can put together a decent string of results. It's sure to be a hard fought battle that much is certain.

The Real Madrid continue to impress this season, another fine win has lifted them above Fallen Giant Borg on goal difference, They beat previously third placed Betty Swollocks XI 4-1 away from home. (Borg hasn't been seen since) And this result seen Subgenius move into third after beating FC Basel 3-0 at home.

Only 3 points separate third place from 8th place.

Spartak are the only side yet to put a point on the board but continue to battle on. They sit 6 points from safety.

Great stuff Delboy. Without blowing my own trumpet That 1/2 would be hammered I'd imagine. I'll finish Real Madrid in a weeks time if someone hasn't beaten me to it. He's had a great start to be fair on him though.

Borg your side is just too strong in these lower divisions. I'm hoping one day to be competing the same way. It's gonna take a lot of time to rack up that many trophies tho

Fallen Giant Borg and The Real Madrid kept their perfect records intact today and moved ten points clear of the chasing pack, (chasing at a snails pace it seems)
Subgenius stay third despite dropping points away at Mixed Martial Farts.
Betty Swollocks XI now sit level on points with Subgenius after dismantling Corkscrew away from home, this was the most impressive result of the day.
Spartak's misery continued today after Borg showed no mercy hammering them 4-0 on a frozen pitch in Iceland. It doesn't get any easier for Spartak as they play high flying The Real Madrid tomorrow.

For a very long time. Seen alot come and go. Theres a fair few still here from when I started. Alot of new managers coming through too like yourself.


Big game in FL3 tomorrow vs Subgenius. Something has got to give.. my perfect 10 or his 0 defeats. Their a very dangerous team. Past 2 meetings (don't play them very often) 1-0 win me and 0-0. So very tight.
I'd give it as close as     1/1 Fallen Giant Borg    19/10 draw     Subgenius 2/1.

Subgenius are always dangerous, in 1-1-1 theyre the only team to mar mine and Jons season so far beating me and drawing with Fc Twente Bensons early on. Definitely a good team!

Was tight as expected.. 1-0 late on. Real Madrid still performing well to be fair. i hope he goes up after his great start.
