Conference three cup round one was today.

There were wins for Rathpeacon and Ocean Beach over Clayton Royals and Wizards FC. Last season's beaten finalist Hoarse Whispers had a 1-0 win over Thanet United while 3-1-4 side Lone Rangers had an extra time victory over high flying Pompey Chimes.

3-1-2 leaders Top Rank FC beat the highly rated Wizard of Ozil 2-0.

There were three one sided games, 3-1-3 leaders Wizards hammered Scoby FC 7-0. The Rumour Mill easily dispatched 3-1-1's bottom side Dynamo St Jude also by 7-0 while champions Green Bay Packers may still be the team to beat. They started their cup defence with a 5-0 win over 3-1-2 promotion hopefuls, The Rhubarb Triangle.

The conference three cup quarter finals took place today.

The Rumour Mill beat 3-1-3 side Wizards 3-1 while defending champions Green Bay had an easy 4-0 win over Ocean Beach. 3-1-2 leaders Top Rank FC followed up their good first round victory with a 2-0 win over my team Rathpeacon. 3-1-1 leaders Hoarse Whisperers stay on course for a possible double with a 2-0 over Lone Rangers.

The semi finals take place next Sunday. Rumour Mill plays Green Bay while Hoarse plays Top Rank.

The Pigs having 2 players out of position had a massive say on that result IMO.
At 15mins - subbed a Left and Anyside Mid off for a Def L and a Striker.

In the semi finals of the conference three cup, defending champions Green Bay Packers had a 3-0 victory over the Rumour Mill.

3-1-1 leaders Horse Whisperers were favourites to reach the final but they fell to a 2-1 defeat against 3-1-2 leaders Top Rank FC.

So Green Bay are bidding for back to back cup titles, can Top Rank stop them? We will find out next weekend. Good luck to both.

Took over the Parkers a couple of seasons ago.
