Haven't got the message I'm currently in 8-3-4 but when the time is right I'll come home, just realised I'm not yet a member again (you have to buy credits which I'm reluctant to do because of the situation surrounding the future of the game) but that means I can't join private leagues damn.

CONFERENCE THREE CUP STARTS TODAY 


Rathpeacon   vs    Wizards   
League leaders and season 8 winners Wizards start their campaign with a tricky away tie to Rathpeacon who sit 3rd in 3-1-1. Rathpeacon have twiced lost the conference 3 cup final. They will start as underdogs today.

Blue Star Knights   vs    Hoarse Whisperers


The ever improving Blue Star Knights host Hoarse Whisperers in what could be the tie of the round. Hoarse has dominated conference 3 for some time now but has yet to win the cup. Blue Star are and coming team and sit 4th in 3-1-1. Could they cause a shock today?

A.C.Upstreet   vs    Teamo supremo   


Its 10th v 12th in a game that shoudld be close. Will home advantage be enough for AC Upstret to make the next round? A cup run for either could help to kickstart their season.

Purple Gelato   vs    Saiyan Warriors

7th placed Purple Gelato has won this cup twice under the Green Bay Franchise and they will start favourites against 11th placeed Saiyan Warriors. Warriors have struggled in the cup in recent seasons but better league form hint at a potential upset here.

3-1-1 leaders Wizards have fallen at the first cup hurdle. A goal in each half was enough for Rathpeacon to advance.

Blue Star Knights   6-1    Hoarse Whisperers

A huge win for Blue Star Knights today. Hoarse had more possesion and shots but Blue Star took their chances and progress on an eye raising scoreline.



A.C.Upstreet   1-0    Teamo supremo   

As expected, this was the tightest game of the day. A tactical change on 60 minutes provided the catalyst for a 61st minute winner.



Purple Gelato   3-0    Saiyan Warriors
Purple Gelato were always in control of this one. Leading 1-0 at the break, an early second half goal gave them a big cushion before a late third put the cherry on top.

CONFERENCE THREE CUP SEMI FINALS TODAY



Blue Star Knights   vs    Purple Gelato   
It's 5th v 7th in this semi final in what could be the game of the day. Blue Star raised a lot of eyebrows with their 6-1 thumping of Hoarse Whisperers in round one. Blue Star are an improving team, could they reach their first conference 3 cup final today? Standing between them and the final are Purple Gelato. Purple Gelato were too good for Saiyan Warriors in round one. Gelato are conference 3 cup kingpins winning the conference 3 cup in seasons 3 and 6 and losing the season 4 final. Could they reach their fourth final today?

The sides have met in the league once this season with Blue Star winning 1-0 but who will win today?



Rathpeacon   vs    A.C.Upstreet
Recently promoted A.C. Upstreet are adjusting to life in the top division and currently sit in 10th. They will have their eyes focused on finishing inside the top 8 but today their eyes will be fixed on reaching a first conference 3 cup final. A 1-0 win in round one will have them full of confidence for today's game. Rathpeacon have lost the conference 3 cup final on two occasions. They are having a very decent season sitting in 2nd place in 3-1-1. Can they reach their 3rd cup final today?

Blue Star Knights   2-3    Purple Gelato   
Well, this was the game of the day and after extra time Purple Gelato have progressed to the conference 3 cup final for the 4th time.

Blue Star started brightly and were finally rewarded with the opening goal in the 42nd minute. The lead was short lived with Gelato equalising 3 minutes into the second half. Gelato were now in the ascendancy and they took the lead on 70 minutes. However Blue Star were not finished and equalised with 6 minutes of normal time remaining.

There was nothing between the sides during the first half of extra time until Gelato finally made the breakthrough with just 9 minutes remaining.


Rathpeacon   2-0    A.C.Upstreet
Rathpeacon started brightly and took an early lead on 11 minutes. the first half was relatively even but Rathpeacon stole in for a second goal in first half stoppage time. With a 2 goal lead, Rathpeacon sat back and soaked up relentless AC pressure but despite 12 shots, AC couldn't close the gap and Rathpeacon make it to their third conference 3 cup final. Having lost the previous two, can Rathpeacon make it third time lucky?

CONFERENCE 3 CUP FINAL DAY


Purple Gelato v Rathpeacon

It's cup final day in conference three. Who will be crowned cup champions for season ten?

What we know if that it will be either Purple Gelato or Rathpeacon. Gelato are appearing in their fourth final and have won this competition twice. Rathpeacon are appearing in their third final but have yet to win on the big day. League form would favour Rathpeacon but league form counts for little in the cup. Gelato's stronger cup pedigree may make them favourites.

Conference 3 cup final


Purple Gelato 1-2 Rathpeacon

A great start to the game by Gelato who took a deserved lead after 22 minutes. Rathpeacon manager Cove kicked lumps out of his team at half time and his motivational tactics worked really well with an equalising goal after 46 minutes. Gelato were on top in this one with 56% possession and 18 shots to just 12 from Rathpeacon. However somehow Rathpeacon held on to take the game to extra time. Some more stern words from Cove had the desired affect and Rathpeacon scored a 91st minute winner to win the conference 3 cup for the very first time 


Thanks to everyone who took part. I hope this adds a small bit of extra fun to the game and I look forward to playing with you all again next season.
