I will go with Con 8 mate, the quality in depth looks crazy. For example a team in 14th in league and looks to be going down gets promoted to FL1. Con 2 is stacked but not to that level where a team in bottom 4 can think of competing at that level.

Didn't Conference 1 win the UCB? 😁

Not worth a mention?

How many teams competed in the UCB from each conference?

I don't think you can determine the overall strength of a conference by the UCB. You could argue that you have the strongest top 4 but even that will change as teams mature etc..

You conference 1 guys seem to have a chip on your shoulder for some reason, constantly trying to flex your muscles and let everyone know your the best.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion and looking at the overall strength between the two conferences it's hard to argue that 8-1-1 is the toughest overall.

I'm sure that will change over time though.  ;)

Obviously it's conference 3 as the mighty Cricketers are struggling to avoid relegation! ;D

This is a question that will never truly be resolved, the only way to answer it would be to create 8x16 team leagues and pit all champions together in one (a bit like the champion of champions), all runners up in another, all third places in the next one etc etc, all the way down to last place and to keep track of how each conference is doing.

FAR too much effort if you ask me. The bragging rights from competitions and pride in your conference is what makes this game great. Obviously im conference 1 loyal, thats where i played moons ago and i want to represent it as strongly as possible. However anyone wants to look at it, thats their opinion... I just try to beat the team in front of me  ;)

Plus, with the aforementioned method that would put Jons 3 teams in the same league in the current climate... What a talented manager that lad is....   ::)

Apologies Rich for that outburst earlier, didn't mean to come across as a dick with that reply. Suppose we all have pride for our own conferences so understandable you guys like to big your own up. I'm not sure what conference to put my second team in yet but I've been swithering between 1 & 2 for the challenge. It's going to take a while to crack 8-1-1 but determined to do it within 4 seasons. Just hoping to avoid relegation this season though  :'(

Maybe there is a different way to ask this question.

If we took the sixteen teams in league one, division one on each conferenc eand took the average of these sixteen teams as the standard for that conference , which would be strongest? Steve's comments about a 14th place conference eight team gets promoted to FL1. That seems to be a very impressive achievement.

If Steve is right, (and he often is), does that mean that conference eight is the strongest with conference two in second place?

What does everything think of that statement and where do the others rank?
