Allow me to be the first to congratulate myself on promotion to the most prestigious league in all of SL. It was hard fought in the end and the Drogs put up a brave fight, but ultimately failed to gain promotion. We shall remember Steven Murray's grit and determination and hope he can go a step further next season.

Well done to Nijinsky and Davy Winter who smashed the league this season. May the best manager win it tomorrow. Can't ask for a better end to the season, good luck guys

FL1 - Super Imps Champions Of FL60

Super Imps were crowned champion today after they defeated relegation threatened The Donks 2-1 and saw their local rival The Flashhearts defeated 1-0 by 3rd place side Old Fullerians AFC to clinch the title with 1 game remaining. At the bottom Redhill Rovers were relegated after they were defeated 1-0 by Floriana FC. Reigning champions Pathetico Madrid are 2 points clear of The Donks after they were held by local rival Realale Madrid to a 1-1 draw. Tomorrow key games see The Donks needing a win facing Aston Villains and Pathetico Madrid clashing with The Seg.



FL2 - Milan Can't Take Advantage Of Hoarse Loss

Hoarse Whisperers hold a 2 points advantage going into the final game of the season after they were surprisingly defeated by relegated Naval and Military 1-0. Winter Milan failed to capitalise fully on their rivals slip up after they were held 1-1 by midtable The Tricky Trees. Tomorrow sees the top 2 battle it out for the title.  Mixed Martial Farts have caused national grief after they confirmed promotion at the expense of Didier Drogba FanClub after they battled past Subgenius 2-1 and saw Didier Drogba FanClub good run halted by a 1-1 draw by Team Georgia Mayajay.



FL5 - Selecao One Win From Promotion

Harricam Wanderers showed their champion qualities as they look to have ended Shakhtar Senseless runners up ambitions after they eased past them 3-0. Standard Liege who remain unbeaten hold a 3 points advantage in 2nd after they stuttered to a 1-0 win over lowly Somerset Rebels. The battle for the final promotion place goes into the final day after the 3 teams involved eased to comfortable victories. A Selecao Das Quinas hold a 2 points advantage after they defeated Republic of Leeds 4-0. The Cricketers need a big favour tomorrow to be promoted are 2 points back after they dismissed The Crafty Egg 4-0. SLB Aguias are 3 points back but will need a miracle to overcome both teams despite a comfortable 5-0 victory over Non Contact Rovers. Tomorrow sees A Selecao Das Quinas meet unbeaten Standard Liege in a key battle for the runners up and 4th place position.

Congratulations Del, realistically fully deserved despite a great end of season run by myself.

I will be sitting with my head in my hands for the rest of the nite after flunking yet another opportunity at a bit of glory on this game. Time for reflection at The FanClub.

No need for reflection Steve, it was a close one in the end, both of us didn't stay consistent enough through the season, I just happened to pick up a few more points. You'll be in the top flight soon enough mate. I think today is the first time I've beat you this season in any comp. You'll be back

FL1 - The Donks Relegated On Final Day

Champions Super Imps ended their victorious campaign with a 1-1 draw with relegated Redhill Rovers. Super Imps won the league by 4 points from The Flashhearts with Old Fullerians AFC making up the top 3 9 points adrift. At the bottom The Donks were relegated despite Aston Villains 2-0. The Donks fate was confirmed after Pathetico Madrid battled past The Seg 1-0 to confirm their safety and leave The Donks 2 points below the dotted line.



FL2 - Hoarse Whisperers Are Champions

Hoarse Whisperers were confirmed champions of the division after they held off nearest challenger Winter Milan holding them to a goalless draw to win by 2 points. Mixed Martial Farts who were promoted yesterday took their foot off the gas today going down 4-0 to The Huckley Way. Didier Drogba FanClub finished 4th but couldn't get the better of Subgenius losing 1-0. St Kilda Select finished the season on a high note defeating Corinthian Casuals 5-0 to finish 5th.



FL5 - Cricketers Promoted As Liege Score Late To Deny Quinas

Harricam Wanderers defeated Kane Versus Ings 1-0 to win the division by 7 points. Standard Liege are runners up and unbeaten after they scored late to deny A Selecao Das Quinas promotion winning 1-0. Shakhtar Senseless already promoted ended the season victorious defeating Republic of Leeds 2-0. The Cricketers celebrate promotion today after they battled past The Negative Amigos winning 1-0. SLB Aguias finish 5th just 1 point back after they defeated Hunt Park Rovers 3-1. A Selecao Das Quinas finish 6th also 1 point back from the promotion places.



I have to say that was my most enjoyable Friendly League so far. Everyone gave it their all and all leagues had results hanging on the final day of the season. I hope the 76 teams involved will battle it out again next season.
