Our U-23 side got beat by Spurs 1-3 at home the other day too. >:(

Good to see Chong back from his ACL injury though, and Gomes has now been promoted to the U-23s too. Had a solid game as well. We're going to see them both breaking through to the senior side next year I think.

Quite an open game so far, no doubt helped by that VERY early goal. Plenty of action in both halves.

Alexis on the left, Martial on the right and Lingard as the number 10.

Shit. 2-0 down now. I told you that MUTV was tempting fate lol :'(

2-0 down at halftime and that's a half that Jones will want to forget. United have had a few good chances though. Spurs trying to contain Alexis is giving Young the opportunity to penetrate on the left but what I'd REALLY like to see is Martial on the left, Alexis in the number 10 position and Lingard on the right.

The game isn't over yet but if we concede a third goal I think it's going to be game over.

Well that's 3 points thrown away and the Berties with a 15 point lead now. That's the worst I've seen us play for quite some time. Completely outplayed tonight. :'(

Worst performance in a decade. Had no problem selling Matic but Bakayoko is complete and utter crap.

We've spunked the best part of £100 million on mediocre midfielders in Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Barkley. How Bakayoko gets in ahead of Ampadu is beyond me.

Once again Chelsea have fucked up after winning the title. 4 fucking times they've done it now. What will happen, the board will roll on and they'll sack the manager who will end up somewhere like PSG or Real, be given money and will do well.

We've gone from shopping in Harrods to buying expensive shit in Lidls.

I think Conte will quit before he gets sacked. He certainly isn't a happy bunny and I'm not surprised at all.

The performances of arse and Chelsea are the only thing keeping me going at the moment lol ;D ;D ;D :P

Still, I'd rather lose to Bournemouth than Bristol City ;)

Watching any other team has to be better than having to watch your defensive tripe every week... Yeah buy $anch€z they said, he'll make us a really attacking side they said, we'll see a different united side they said... LOL... Spurs absolutely dicked you.. ;D

If you're referring to us playing defensive football and 'parking the bus' you may want to consider the fact that we've had 12 games this season in all competitions where we've scored 3 goals or more and we've also scored 4 more Premiership goals than your lot too.

And getting beaten by Spurs isn't anywhere near as bad as getting beat by Bournemouth lol

As for Bristol City, these things happen. It was a Cup upset. We've all had them in the past and we will all have more of them in the future. Chelsea were VERY close to getting knocked out by Norwich too.

Team news for United:

De Gea

Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw

McTominay Matic

Mata Lingard Alexis

Lukaku

Pogba and Jones dropped, no surprise though tbh. McTominay just got a NASTY bang on the head, pure accident, but it looked bloody painful. He's come back on Now, hopefully he'll be fine to carry on.

Wasn't a penalty despite Maureen's protestations. It was a 50/50 ball.

Alexis has been getting battered during this first half an hour, no protection from the ref at all. >:(

United go 1-0 up at the start of the second half with a Lukaku volley, assist from Mata. 8)
