It wasnt a super season, especially getting knocked out 3 cups yesterday (due to a managerial oversight  )

However, papa Dave is bringing home the bacon to Conference 1 with the Champions Shield!
Absolutely made-up at finally winning this!

Very happy with my start to this season, I've got myself off to a strong start for my relegation battle with 9 points out of a possible 9. 

Didn't expect to beat The Huckley Way on the first day but I'll take it.

Maybe my team is capable of more than a relegation battle? 

I'm hoping if I can avoid relegation, I can maybe go a step further and get myself a spot in the ICC next season, with a top 8 finish.

yeah Daniel it was a great opening result against Huckers. Just 3 teams with 100% records 3 games in.

Ive got the Negative Amigos tonight, i always find them difficult to play so we'll see how things look tomorrow

Yeah, last season I tried to play a lot of friendlies against 1-1-1 teams to see where I could expect to finish, I spent most the time getting battered, and I thought it'd take a lot longer than it has to get to 9 points haha.

This weekend has a lot of interesting games though, tomorrow night you play Rich, and FC Twente Bensons play The Huckley Way.

Then on Sunday, I play you 

Your team has over a 100 point value advantage on my team...If I manage tactical advantage for the whole game, I may still struggle to get a draw.

Still, I know my team isn't a title contender this season, as it needs to develop, but hopefully the season after next, I'll be able to challenge for it
