Looks like Fat Frank's honeymoon period is over, Chelsea got beat 0-1 at home by Bournemouth.

This means that a win for United will put us just 2 points away from 4th place with the games coming thick and fast over Christmas and the New Year.

Classic Harv, always getting ahead of himself... you forget.. United are shite and will be lucky to finish in the top half with that clown in charge, keep him on, he's doing a great job.

It's a waste of time looking at the table until February or March, Liverpool have won bugger all apart from the Mickey Mouse World Club Cup so far. Like I said in that post you've quoted, the games are coming in thick and fast over Christmas and the New Year and points will be dropped by EVERYONE.

And as I think I've already mentioned Ollie was given bugger all money to spend in the Summer, same with Maureen the Summer before. We need a net spend of £300m or so but the board are being VERY tight with the purse strings these last few seasons, both Ollie and Maureen had a net spend of around 60 or 70 million quid these last two Summers.

We still haven't replaced Fellaini and Herrera ffs :o

I'm confident that Ollie can turn things around this season even if we don't sign Haaland, and I reckon we'll end up with a trophy of some description this season.

Merry Christmas 9and thanks for three points Spurs).

More points dropped by Fat Frank.

Team news for United:

De Gea, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Pereira, Fred, McTominay, Martial, Rashford, Greenwood

Bench: Romero, Jones, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Young, James

James dropped to the bench and Greenwood gets a start. Pogba on the bench, Lingard dropped to the bench and looks like Pereira playing as the number 10.

A win today gets us within 4 points of 4th place at the halfway through the season mark.

Oops, McTominay booked in the first minute will see him walking a proverbial tightrope for the remaining 89 minutes!

Greenwood, 2-1. Nice assist from a bizarre mis-pass from a Geordie defender.

3-1 at halftime, a bad start from United but they ended up purring once they got the equaliser. ;D 8)

Another defensive cock up from Newcastle and a cool finish from Martial makes it 4-1 and that should be game over. Wouldn't surprise me if we score more now.
