You spent 200m and haven't won a trophy or come anywhere near 1st place... i wouldnt be feeling too smug about that.. especially since the fa agenda handed you penalty after penalty and ensured you finished in a CL place  ;D

I can, because at the start of the season I said I'd be happy with 4th with or without a trophy.. given we lost our top goalscorer and couldn't buy anyone and have a manager with little experience..

Next season is different, I'm expecting a title push with the money we've already spent... you should be expecting the title with the amount of money you've spent... if mourinho couldn't do it, ogs certainly won't be the guy to do it though

Well I'd say that 3rd place and reaching 2 Semi Finals with another Semi Final on the way isn't too shabby, particularly when you consider that Pogba has been injured for 9 months and Rashford and Martial have also had long term injuries

And with regards to United's spending they haven't actually spent that much these last few years because the Glazers are as tight as a gnat's chuff. We had a net spend of £60m or so last Summer and around the same amount the Summer before that. Considering the size and stature of the club that's pretty much peanuts. And we wouldn't have signed Brunooooooooo in January if we didn't have a shitload of injuries too.

And of course I'm expecting a title push next season if we sign Sancho. Like I've said before United have had a defensive record capable of winning the Premiership for 5 out of the last 7 seasons since Fergie retired, our problem since Fergie went has been scoring goals. Another 20+ goals each of those seasons and we would have won a few Premier League titles. A front line of Sancho, Martial and Rashford with Fernandes behind them will put us in a VERY good position in terms of a title challenge.

As for the penalties, yes, there has been a dodgy one or two but we've also had several stonewall penalties that WEREN'T given so these thinhs even out over the course of a season. We've always had more penalties awarded than other sides because we've always had players with pace running into the opposition box. If Chelsea aren't getting enough penalties for your liking I suggest you bring some more pace into your side.

And Maureen couldn't do it because these days he's a shite manager who completely RUINS the atmosphere in dressing rooms at EVERY SINGLE CLUB HE'S MANAGED. He does this on purpose because he knows that when he inevitably loses the dressing room and gets the sack he always gets a massive payout. Levy was insane giving him a 4 year deal, it's going to cost him a fortune. I honestly thought that after we fucked him off that he was finished as a manager because I couldn't see any club daft enough to give him a job given his GODAWFUL track record during the last few years.

United have shown progress since Ollie joined. All of his signings have been good, we're beating the top teams regularly and since we signed Brunooooooooooo we're also now able to beat sides parking the proverbial bus. Ollie will win us the Premier League, no doubt in my mind about that.

There's now talk about the Sancho deal being off cos United aren't willing to splash the cash. If this is true I can see Woodward's house getting attacked again.

We're one of four clubs that haven't made any signings yet, this is getting embarrassing 🤬😡🤬

There is now news breaking 'from a reliable sauce' that the Glazers have verbally agreed to sell the club to the Ortega family. 😲😂

Probably complete bollocks, although it could explain the very quick purchase of van de Beek, the Glazers will want to increase the value of the assets for the sale. So we could end up seeing us buying Badiashiele and Sancho a bit sharpish.

Probably not though 😂😂😂

Team news for United for their first game of the season:

De Gea

Fosu-Mensah Lindelof Maguire Shaw

McTominay Pogba

James Fernandes Rashford

Martial

Bench: Henderson, Bailly, Greenwood, Fred, Ighalo, Wan-Bissaka, van de Beek.

Thought we might see van de Beek starting ahead of Pogba because the latter must have missed some training when he got COVID-19.

Bale has now officially rejoined Spurs. Could be a great loan deal if it works out but you do wonder how many games he's going to play.

United doing better now but passing is still pretty ropey and Palace are looking dangerous on the counter.

0-1 down at halftime, think we might see a change or two during the break. United have been off the pace all the way through the first half but got back a bit of pace towards the end.

Think we need to bring someone on to stretch the play a bit more. van de Beek and/or Greenwood could be good options.

van de Beek on for Pogba, who's been poor.

And now it looks like a penalty for Palace.

Zaha puts it away.

We're now 0-2 down and I can't see us getting anything out of this game now.

A disastrous start of the season for United. 🤬😡🤬
