Wolufs got a goal disallowed for handball. Was a foul on Maguire anyway.

Shite game so far, Ruddy has made a couple of decent saves and Romero has been pretty sharp too so far. It's quite a tight game but United haven't been clinical enough. Again.

0-0 at halftime.

Rashford has aggravated his back injury, a bit daft of Ollie to have him on the bench let alone bring him on.

Ended up winning 1-0 at fulltime, goal from Mata who easily won the MOTM award.

I would have had more of the kids on the squad myself because if we win on Sunday we'll be edging closer to 4th place.

He can't play a run of games, he's too old.

he can, i mean he should be fit enough if he isnt why is he even at the club. By run of games id like to see him complete 90 mins for 3 or 4 games. Hes by far our most creative midfielder atm and probably the only one who drives forward most times with the ball looking for one twos ect. Making things happen.

Interested to see what team he puts out today.Massive game as this is the only competition we have a chance of winning atm.

6 changes from the side that got beat by Burnley:

Romero

Lindelof Jones Maguire

Dalot Matic Pereira Shaw

Lingard Martial Greenwood

So it looks like three at the back.

That pitch doesn't look too clever, we'll probably pick up more injuries here I think.

Maguire puts us 0-1 up with a good strike helped by a slight deflection.

pitch is awful lol. Nice to see thought that we can still play on such a bad pitch.

Great footwork and finish there from Dalot

And Dalot with number two. Best couple of goals we've scored for a while. The scoreline flatters us a bit so far, Tranmere have played pretty well so far and have been the more dangerous side, although to be fair to United we have defended well.

Yup, I'm surprised they haven't planted spuds there yet  ;D

Maguire with an assist and FINALLY a goal for Lingard. Good finish too.

We've needed a win like this. Hopefully we'll score 5 or more.
