I always find it very strange and weird when a competitive team quits the league midway through a season like Thistle FC have. Just stinks like someone has thrown the toys out the pram.

Why not just wait till the end of the season. I think Gull and Baldbean did a similar thing a few season back in C6.

Yeah It can be quite annoying when people leave mid season. It upsets the balance for those challenging for the title. I now have the advantage of having both 1 less points dropping fixture and the bonus goal difference over the few teams who completed their second fixture vs Thistle. I actually had the disadvantage in 6-1-1 last season when the same thing happened.

I thought 3-0 was a bit harsh last night tbh, but then again I thought my 1-1 draw with CSI Sandwich the previous division game would have been a win for me 9/10 times. I do quite like the unpredictability though and hope it serves us all well at different times.

Had to laugh when I read Mr Rodger's questioning the integrity of leagues when he openly admits he's "too pissed to set up half the time" with his 6-1-1 side. It appears he sobers up for his 4-1-1 side though 

Spiteri - your disadvantage with me leaving was compensated with My Lovely Horse not setting up against you (twice!) - but you're right, I shouldn't have left 6-1-1 and was a knee jerk reaction to Mr Rodgers midweek alcohol problem he appears to have.

For what it's worth myself and Baldbean werre caught hook, line and sinker with My Lovely Horse "playing dead" for a couple of games then setting up catching us both out - not sure why he targets us, perhaps one of the reasons why is were both vocal on the forums.

Definitely agree with you both though, teams leaving midway can have an adverse effect on the season - I shouldn't have thrown my toys out the pram and wouldn't do it again.

I believe I left after 3 games 4 at the most. And to be honest, Brendan you are just a mug and everyone knows it. Always calling out competitions for being shit, name dropping people in different conference chats, getting involved in other peoples business, you just a busy body always looking for a reaction, you’re an idiot!

And yeah I would spit my dummy out again, someone being awol for a few days then setting up through default tactics so you can’t see they’ve returned, that’s the ultimate dirty, I had a great start to 6-1-1, whilst horse decided to not even turn up, just to do the dirty on me, it was enough to leave.
