Is it just me but I reckons there's 2 easy games that's all and depends if they return from awol

There was a sign of things to come on the opening day of the new season.  Newly promoted teams SLB Aguias and  Herbie's Wolfberry Tornadoes started with wins against established teams who have been in the division for a good few seasons and who they will be hoping to to replace this season .  Romasexuals and MayJay Georgia will need to get their acts together task year to avoid the drop.

None of last seasons top 4 teams were able to secure a win first time out, as they played the remaining teams from the top 8 .   Not that surprising as we all know the quality of those teams. 

Mr Cobra set out his stall with a good 3-0 win over Steven Murray's Notts County.

There will be no let up tonight as last seasons top 4 square off against each other, as do  the new arrivals .

Has delboy gone AWOL?

Hope not, thought he had a tough run of fixtures to start the season, will check the who's online page, he on this more than me.

Delboy is probably just too embarrassed to show his face after his opening results.  As tough as his fixtures were I think I might hide if I was in the bottom three  too.

Tonight brings an interesting set of fixtures:

Last seasons top 4 all take on the newcomers to the league.  Easy game for Steven, then, against Delboy!

Mr Cobra has a tough and important game against the babes from the West End.  Lets see if he gets distracted or whether he can lay a solid foundation for success this season.

I expect that Aten Warriors and Robbos Reds will build their position against the two bottom clubs  while Surreal Madrid v Kickstart is a tough fixture for both teams.

Looking to be a great season.  I love the way this fixture computer works.

It does look as though Delboy has gone AWOL.  Very surprised . Hope everything is ok. 

His other team are still top of Conference 8  but I dont know enough about  that league to understand  if thats possible just by having good stats and some decent pre-set tactics.

Looking at the Conf 4 Table after 4 games the stand out point is that the new teams are doing very well.  More than that, two of last seasons Top 4 are sitting in the relegation places.  This does not look good for our prospects in the UCB !

Mr Cobra succumbed to distractions in the West End.   Do you fancy a pre christmas drink in the Mayfair Bar mate?  Say, last Friday afternoon before Christmas?

Romasexuals look to be dead and Robbos Reds took advantage.

Kickstart and Surreal Madrid    and Aten and Mayday fought out draws.

Happy to come away with a win against West End. Although tactics were even so I've been lucky there. Make sure I get as many points in as possible now to save the drop.

Very odd result last night with Kickstart having 4 players sent off from the 64th minute onwards.

I'll take the 4-0 though!

Actually can't believe I'm second! I know theres a long long way to go, and I'll eventually fall away but I'm pleasantly suprised with the start of the season.

You're having a cracking season Herbie.  I think there are going to be a few surprises in Conf 4 this season  and a change to the recent order. Its a combination of quality teams joining the division and maybe some of the older teams starting to tire.
