It will be an interesting evening in Conf 4 tonight with many teams playing direct rivals for league positions.  We might see how the season is going to pan out after tonight. 

Tough game for me against Martial Farts with two  of my best players seriously injured and another just  coming back from serious injury.  Add that I've had to play some rookies recently because of the injuries and I've got my work cut out.   

Gloriana take on kickstart;  Cubana are visiting the babes from the West End who certainly gave me a game last time out; SurrealMadrid are playing Robbo ;Aten are visiting Shakhtar and MayaJay take on the Romasexuals.   All tricky games.

A chance for Mr Cobra to make some progress too.

Tomorrow morning's league  table will be interesting.

Wolfberry Tornadoes and SLB Aguias are both unbeaten in Division Two along with Standard Liege.  Wolf berry play Standard Liege tonight and I'm expecting Wolfberry to win that to set up a battle for the rest of the season with SLB to see who gets promoted as champions.

That was an outstanding result against Surreal Madrid, Mr Cobra.

The fixture computer was very kind to me last night as my team was in a mess  All strikers were either AWOL or injured,  resulting in heavy defeats in the afternoon games, especially in FL1, but luckily my evening league fixture was against one of the struggling teams in Conf 4.  I got away with that one.

So with Conference 4 only 8 games in things are looking tight throughout the whole table with only 6pts seperating the top 8.
I am slowly picking up some form after an early dismal run.

Thought id cast a few predictions for tonight's games. Some more in depth than others.

DVGStars   vs    Surreal Madrid   
Wow how a week can change things... Last Friday DVG went down 0-1 to The Farts and since then has won 4/4 scoring 17 and conceding 0.
Surreal Madrid are still in shock after Wednesday's 0-9 MAULING by Ocean City Orioles and will look to turn the tides and bounce back this evening.
Prediction 3-0 Win for DVGStars

Mixed Martial Farts   vs    Robbos Reds   
Mixed Martial Farts sit 2nd in C4 on Goal Difference, in their past 3 games they have won 2 and lost 1, There maybe a slight weakness showing in the defence of the farts as they have conceded in each of their last 3 games. Robbo Reds have won their last 2 games notching 11 goals in the process and wont be a pushover this evening.

Floriana FC   vs    West End Girls
Both of these sides seem to have well drilled defences and with only 9 goals being conceeded between them in the 16 games played I am going to sway towards a draw in this game in what seems to be one of the more closer tactical battles this evening.

Kickstart Utd   vs    Cubana Villains   
The home side starting Conference 4 on fire this season finding themselves unbeaten after 7 games with 5 of those being wins. Last time out they come unstuck against Romasexuals... Has Kickstart Utd's fire started to go out...?
Top of the table Cubana Villains are the visitors this evening and will be looking to take another 3points to add to their 21pt tally already to put some daylight between them and the farts. I have a feeling this one may end up in a stalemate

Wow Mr Cobra.  That was a very accurate set of predictions.  You got all of the results correct except for Floriana V West End Girls and you even got the actual score correct for my game and within a goal on most of the others.

The Floriana result didn't surprise me.  They are coming back to their best form and thrashed be in FL1 yesterday afternoon.

Not predicting your own result was wise. The 0-0 showed how close it was.

I've got to somehow make a 7 points difference up to the 9th and 8th placed teams.

Going to be tough going but my aim at the start of the season was top 8.

Maybe unrealistic
