Bayern upset the odds by winning on the road against the Blades to go to the top of the table. The Romanians picked up a comfortable win. The Pink and The Cuban both had narrow wins. The Touch drew at Spartak, The FanClub had a good result away at The Rocket and move into the top8. Tottenham and Beticos both won at home and gave them some vital points at the start of the season.

Brads picks the quartet as he is the champion, but we should keep the Awesome Twosome name that we are known as, being double champions of the UCB.

ps....I'm up for selection, but it doesn't have to be the top 4 finishers in the league, it's the captain's choice

Some tricky games tonite as the top8 from last season play each other which means some unfancied teams have the opportunity to be higher than they expected in the table. The Blades will be looking to get back on track against Luton, The Romanians and The Cubans square up in the MOTD and The Captain faces The Tornadoes. Tle league leaders Bayern have an interesting game against The Pink, can the Womble handle the pressure of topping the table. Elsewhere Spartak will be looking to get out the drop zone. An interesting game between the bottom side Rocket Rangers and Beticos, can The Rocket get his 1st points, The FanClub head to the Lane to see if they can remain unbeaten and maybe knick the points. Finally The Touch will be looking to consolidate his good start at home to The Bubbles.

Deca, I agree the UCB doesn't have to be last seasons top 4 but we did finish quite a bit clear of 5th and the only team I'd drop is my own because of all the players I've replaced!

Plus it's fallen at the start of the season so it's pretty hard to gauge people's form after just 3 games

Too early to predict form, your team is still the major force, I can't see any team going unbeaten this season. I need a few midfielders desperately otherwise I'll be sliding down the table, which may well start tonight against Chiii. Not many decent midfielders around on the transfer market, but when they are there is stiff competition for them........ .....like tonight!!!

Glad we're keeping the Awesome Twosome name for the UCB.

The Blades returned to form against the difficult Luton, The Romanians and Villains shared the spoils. The Captain had an impressive win against the Tornadoes. League leaders Bayern suffered defeat to the unbeaten Pink Charlottes. Spartak needed the 3pts against a stubborn Tottenham. Rocket still search for a win after drawing with Beticos. Not sure either manager will be pleased with the draw as The FanClub and The Lane shared a bore draw and The Bubbles had a good away win against The Touch.

The Blades will be confident of winning against The Bubbles, The Romanian hosts Spartak and will be looking for three points, FC Luton will be looking to return to form against the winless Rocket. The Villains will be hoping to stay in touch with the leaders as they host Tottenham. The Captain invites Beticos to his arena confident of the win. Bayern stuttered last time out but knows a win against The Lane is a must to keep his impressive start in tact. Tipton will be looking to bounce back against The Touch but knows it will be tricky. League leaders The Pink host the meanest defence in The FanClub, can The Pink keep their composure and maintain their league lead of will TheDrog announce themselves as a realistic top8 candidate.
