im enjoying the fact that every night therell be a game of interest in 211. Couple of big matchups tonight as well, Marv and Mark and Winter and Chazz

I've got to admit that 4-0 whooping left me pretty gob-smacked!  Cant remember being beaten by 4 goals for a game that I set up for.. Especially by a team of 1 and 2 swc...

Will take 7 points to start the season, almost got tripped up by Tipton Tornadoes last  time when they completely changed all their tactics

If I can be around top 6 at the turn of the season, I'll take that with my 15 home games to come afterwards.

Off topic but does being at home really give you an advantage on the game?

It would make sense obviously but just never heard that before.

Honestly i dont think so, im only saying because of my FL1 win last season (which i crowbar into conversations with any/all unwilling watercooler participants) 

At the halfway point i had played all my home games last season and i was top by i think 1 point, 15 away games in the top league later and i topped the league by 3 points, i cant remember who mentioned goal difference at the halfway point but i remember cacking myself thinking i was in for a run of harsh results but i honestly dont think home advantage is a huge deal, squad strength, fitness morale and tactics all a much bigger factors i believe, although im open to opinions. Its a good question definitely

I suppose that's how it works in football as well so it would make sense to have it work that way.

I'm going to keep a close eye on this and see if I can work it out for certain.
