But that did mean I could replace some top players who were getting close to falling off their perches which, unfortunately, has, and likely will, impact on my UCB performances. I'll give it my best go but apologies to my team-mates if I don't deliver my share.
And, as you can see, my league results have suffered (though maybe I'll be able to finish with a flourish in the last game). I will, though, be setting up in the evening games to make sure I can do my best in the UCB games the next day (which might help my opponents in the last two league games. Apologies to anyone that affects adversely.
