Christmas holiday has given me a lot of time on my hands, so decided to write a quick overview for the season so far!
League tables after 15 games:Conference 3, League 1, Division 1, Premier Region
After 15 games, Waterloo Merlion lead the way with an impressive 12 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. However, if form is any indication, they will have a couple of difficult games at the end of the season, as all their poor results came during the last five games. If they can pick up their amazing initial form again, Waterloo Merlion will indisputably be the pick for the title this season.
Not too far behind we find The Rumour Mill and Colour City, two teams in great shape at the moment after a poor early performance, being second and first respectively in the recent form statistics. If they can keep up their form, they will be serious contenders for the title.
Being 4th at worse goal difference than Colour City we have Ruff Ryders. They have kept up with Waterloo Merlion all season, but have suffered a couple of bad results their last few games. Not in a terrible form by any means, but will have to improve it to have any hope to win this season. But if there's a team that can do it, it's Ruff Ryders!
A little further behind we have Ramsgate Reds and last seasons winner, Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs. Both teams are still in range to catch up, Ramsgate Reds gets a special mention for being in good shape at the moment, but you can never count out the reigning champion.
Flashing Blade, Lowes A, Stato Leeds Again, and Lucy Tigers are realistically speaking just fighting for ICC at this point, but a lot can still change in 15 games. Lowes A especially shouldn't be underrated, being in the 3rd best form at the moment. But is the effort coming a little too late?
Clayton Royals, The Devils, and Saiyan Warriors are already doomed for relegation in my opinion, but Blue Toon Stunners and BRUCEs XI shouldn't feel safe yet. Unreal Kellyville recently took over for a computer team, so their form so far is misleading. If they hit a good form, who says they can't avoid relegation this season?
