If your right then I'm always playing Defenders out of position. As I frequently play:

DefR

DefL
DefL

But I don't think your correct. I agree with Brian's explanation were you can play either DefC or a right or left sided defender in those two central defensive positions. It's the same with midfield where you played:

MidR
MidR

Not sure who you played on the left but it can be:

MidL
MidL

Or you can play MidR,, three central midfielder's and a MidL. So many variations on a theme.

Oh I honestly didn't know this I've always gone by playing RCCL

Got no excuses then, having a really bad run, my team is at its weakest in a long time thanks to the state of the transfer market, can't bring myself to spend 10k on average players, also finding it hard to put any money into the game with no communication at all from junior anymore, getting the feeling some people may have been right when they said about the Black Friday deal was to get one last big cash boost from the game

Sometimes as Manager's we don't need excuse's. We just have to praise the winning Manager. On the day they beat us. Except for my excuse. Constantly getting players red carded. It's a bug bear of mine. But that's a different story....

Jason I still think you'll end up nabbing the title. At least, with Deca's 4-5-1 formation taking effect, it will be either you or him. My shoddy goal difference will impact me, unfortunately. I'm shocked but happy with my current run... but will see how long I can last for! Some tough games coming up... Roman Empire tonight

Too many mistakes! I should be reasonably clear(ish) at the top but I'm making it difficult for myself with 5 games to go (and I still have Villians, Piggies, Ogres & Boars left to play). Saying that, I was extremely lucky with my draw against Winners last night since they outdid me tactically for 100% of the game!! Not the foggiest idea how I came away from that unscathed.

You're having a great season, don't panic!!!

Sometimes you can get away with pinching results even though you are tactically outdone, purely down to strength of your team
