Downloaded the first 2 episodes of Hannibal and I think I'm gonna like this. Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Lecter is awesome. Wish more episodes were out tbh as I hate waiting every week for a new one. lol

Aye, I'm gonna wait a while before downloading Hannibal. Ditto Bates Motel.

Have just got around to watching Season 1 of House of Cards this week on Netflix. Absolutely brilliant. Kevin Spacey was already one of my favourite actors but he's risen even further in my estimations. Star of the show. It's not even something I usually pay attention to but I have to say the show is beautifully shot. Can't wait for Season 2.

You should check out the original series, whilst Kevin Spacey is great Ian Richardson is infinitely better. Bit of a coincidence but I recently talked about me rewatching the original series from the 90s. A bit weird how they changed the name of the Prime Minister/President though.

I watched Revolution the other day and was quite impressed. Makes a pleasant change for a TV show to get the physics right when someone is shot by a gun and bow/crossbow.

You guys really need to check out Damages with Glenn Close, it really is the dog's bollocks. Glenn Close's character is a right devious bitch lol.

Best thing about it is the way it's written. The programme starts off with part of the end scene and as the series progresses more of the final scene is revealed in further flashes forward as the story develops with flashes back filling in the present. Quite cleverly done, I don't remember seeing a series do this before.

Grimm, Revolution, Beauty and the Beast and Chicago Fire have been renewed for Seasons 3, 2, 2 and 2 respectively.

Was looking through shows on watch on Netflix and spotted that Damages was quite highly rated. Just working through the second series of Luther which is only 4 episodes and I'll probably make a start on that.

Just the final two episodes of Smallville to go now. It definitely lost its way a bit in the last couple of seasons but still watchable.

Also, the writers seemed intent on nicking bits of films. The Smallville version of the Matrix and the Hangover were a couple of heavily borrowed plots. Swapping the monkey for a lemur in the "hangover" episode though.

I'll have to start on my box set of the Sopranos next I think.

Well it's sort of telly related. This is definitely not for the squeamish.

Finished season 2 of Luther. Can't believe I didn't get into this when it first came out. Much darker than the usual crime dramas these days, and Idris Elba is outstanding.

Was intending to watch Damages next but decided to watch Sherlock instead seeing as it's only 6 episodes (albeit each 90 mins long). Have watched 2 eps and am loving it so far. Nice mix of seriousness and humour, and Benedict Cumberbatch (corker of a name, that) is very good.

Love both of those - looking forward to a third series of each (hopefully back end of this year, possibly next year, since Elba, Cumberbach, and Freeman are all such hot properties lately and struggle to commit to TV).
Well done the Beeb.
