im waiting to upgrade my youth centre to level 3 but it is taking forever to get enough money. i only get 6k profit a day i have been waiting for 2 weeks already and stil only have 90k and i need 185k. 

Does any one have any tips for money increase?

You can sack some of your old players that earn a lot of money.....or wait a week and try and sell them when the transfer market opens...other than that it is just a waiting game. You are looking at earning about $14K per point in TV-revenue by the end of the season, which will (on current form) probably be about $800K-$850K but that won't be for over a month. In that time, at 6K profit per day and $6K per home match, you should have amassed another $300K. With any transfer fees you can get, you should be coining it in by the start of next season.

Sounds like I will be waiting a while then.

All my buildings are level 1 except my training complex which I'm waiting to finish level 3 (4?) tomorrow then I'm going to make another player. didn't realise it was 150 as when I did it for the guide thing, it was only 100.

BTW Just played my cup match - watched live. It was 1-1 after full time. Went to extra time and still 1-1 so it went to penalties. 3 each then one of my players missed and I lost 5-4.

Still considering I'm 3.1 and he was 1, I thought it was pretty good all things considered and he could substitute (which I can't yet) and his players were MILES better than mine etc so all in all pretty gutted right now.

Why can't you substitute m8 you have to do it before the game no one can do it live ??

When your setting your team up there's arrows next to your subs name click on that and you can do subs

Yeah thanks, Stato. Just found that 'facility' when setting up my team a few minutes ago. Seems a bit complicated though. Doesn't seem an option for "if injured" which is a bit surprising, although I know it tends to sub those automatically. Am I right that the first sub to be used in that situation is the top one or is that random?

Does your stadium have to be level 2 to unlock fan shop?

Yeah. And catering is not unlocked on level 1 fan shop, so I am hoping it will be when I get level 2 tomorrow morning. This will push the earnings for a capacity crowd up to $33450 - making up for the lack of TV revenue that I am going getting at the moment.

Ahhh... just read that I need Level 3 stadium for catering Looks like I am saving up for a while now.

Just been beaten 3-1, albeit an away game, in the league by a blasted bot team with a far better team than me AGAIN!

This is starting to do my head in now. Blasted crazy. No way I can get promoted now and even if I could, not sure I'd want to be with this team. Just frustrates and niggles me when I see these half decent/decent bot teams and then I look at mine. Maybe my own fault for choosing an old team when I set up but hey ho, never mind.

There's only stato who's doing anything like lol my players are quality but are never fully fit 

By the time I get everything upto level 5 I expect to be able to compete at the top table! That's if I can ever get my head round the tactics on there

Don't know Karl. I have money problems too at the moment. Need to buy a player for the last part of the current guide I'm doing (been waiting a week or two for the new transfer window to open) plus need to upgrade my stadium (325k I think) to level 2. I think I can do nothing really until the end of the season and hope to get as much tv money as I can, although having now slipped into 6th place being beaten 1-0 again after 2 players were booked inside the first 17 minutes!  it's not going to be as much I thought or hoped and certainly won't be enough for me to upgrade my stadium, which I'm sure I can fill because all my home matches are sell outs at the moment but of course I only got room in there for 500 so bit of a waste really. So that's why I'm thinking of selling off my lower but younger team as well. Problem is leaving myself short. I already sacked about 4 or 5 of the rubbish in my reserve team earlier in the season to try to reduce my wages bill and try to increase my earnings. It did that slightly but not enough unfortunately. Oh well, just have to see how the transfers go and hope I can raise enough for the stadium, but that's going to mean not being able to strengthen my team very much, if at all.

Still enjoying the game though even though it is very frustrating.

I have the same issue mate and I'm gonna try and offload them in the window!
It might cost some results in the back end of the season but if the money can increase my stadium and improve my youth centre to maybe level 4/5 then I think it'll be a worthwhile move.

To me, the best plan is to go for is:

Level 2 stadium $317K (I already have this  )
Level 1 Fanshop  $30K (I already have this  )
Level 2 Fanshop  $63K (I already have this  )
Level 3 stadium $859.5K
Level 1 Catering $60K
Level 2 Catering $82K

(This adds up to a total of $1.4m)

By this point, assuming you sell the tickets and get yourself a full house of 4000 for every home match, you will make a profit of 106K per home match (an average of about $37,000 per day = $1.2m per season)

With TV revenue and hopefully offloading some players, I reckon this will be easily achievable by the end of the next season (mid december).

BTW is there really nobody else who wants to try this game? Very different in some respects to Sunday League and as others have said, takes a bit of getting used to but it's a really good game I think and I will work through my frustrations and be pleased when I can see some light at the end of the tunnel so why not join us and have some fun?
